Xbox Icons Ingame - by Skaffa 1.2

Hi guys.
I seen that many people have my same problem: using standard in game icons with xbox controller.
So I decided to modify that standard icons to set xbox icons.

For the moment, I modified only the ingame icons as you can see (in future I can modify the rest of icons if necessary):


For now, consider it a beta version cause i have tested it only on my pc.
You should not have problem, but if you did, tell me and I will try to solve the problem.

I changed also the menu' icons and ingame play calls icons (for players)







The last icons, for now, is not editable ( RF1 RF2 LF1 LF2). I try to work again and find, if possible, the way to modify that icons too.

Now should be all ok.
Changed some icons, and solved the error on dual players control.

can modded files be used online?

The 1,2,3 standard icons (that you can see in the menu') corrispond to which xbox gamepad buttons?

Tomorrow I will work to adjust the other icons (such as ingame calls).

Could you possibly write a tutorial of how you did it? I use my keyboard to play and would like to make my own icons for my keyboard layout.

I just want to point out what I think is an error in the button assignments. In NBA 2K9 PC, the LB button should be LT. This is the button assigned to the Center position.

No it's correct LB is the Center

Actually, pressing LB in the PC version would move the icon to whoever was nearest to the rim. In 2K9, this is Vlizzle's XboX Graphics 2.0 PC control configuration. I think the PC config Vlizzle used was correct because when I played 2K10 with the Xbox360 for Windows controller, it was by default, mapped by the game as such. I hope these controls would help Skaffa in his excellent mod.

Use this control configuration for the PC Config file:

Pause - Start Button
Time out - Back Button
Pass - A Button
Crossover\Take Charge - B Button
Shoot\Steal - X Button
Spin\Rebound|Block - Y Button

but in the console version thats not the right config.. i change my config to suit the console version cos i play both.. making it opposite to what your saying

If this is the case, then I guess we can request Skaffa to make 2 versions of this mod- one to be used by players playing exclusively on the PC and one to be used by players who are used to the Xbox360 version.

Anyway, I've seen that there are some errors, or better, some buttons are the same as before. For example in the menù, in the "top" of the screen etc. Is there a way to change them as in 2k9?

I am doing a fix, I now of that error (LT/LB buttons).
Give me 1 hour at least.

Try finding the menu buttons in english.iff.

I'm also using the left bumper for icon pass to the center, so its cool that way. If u make a whole icon fix (menu+ingame) it would be cool to make two versions

For one we have flam1ng n1nja11. He stated that he's playing on both PC and console versions, but I assume that he plays more on the Xbox360 version because he modified his PC controls to fit to it. I guess we will have more players like him in the future, so I suggest that you make 2 versions of this mod- one for the Xbox360 for Windows controller (PC version) and one for the Xbox360 console users.

Sorry, but I was assuming that Skaffa made this mod for NBA 2K10 PC. As I said, by default, Xbox360 for Windows controller is mapped by NBA 2K10 PC as Dual Player - LT(Left Trigger). I also assume that most of us here are talking about NBA 2K10 for PC. If the majority of you were indeed using Dual Player - LB(Left Bumper), that would not necessarily mean that you have the correct control configuration because once again, I assumed that this mod was made for the PC.

I hope you understand that.

There are 2 problems:

-is there a little bug graphics, it seems to appear as soon as I modify the iff files with the editor. I think is not a problem btw



-I can not change the LB RB LT RT buttons ingame during the several calls (substitutions, timeout etc). I found the iff, I changed it but in game i can not see theese changes.
