Just saw Hiac and I could watch Ziggler and Morrison wrestle all day. I hope they will continue to elevate these guys.
I got a theory. A sure fire way to burn out a crowd is to start a ppv with a main event.
Miz is the best thing to happen to raw since Santino.

Hell in a Cell matches without blood?
Wed Oct 07, 2009 1:36 am
That's PG for you.
Wed Oct 07, 2009 9:19 am
I haven't watched the Hell in a Cell DVD compilation yet, but hopefully they've left the footage alone. It'd be kind of weird if they didn't, considering the inside cover features a bloodied HHH in full colour.

Is Bragging Rights a Smackdown vs RAW themed PPV?
Wed Oct 07, 2009 7:09 pm
Could be, one of the main events is a Smackdown vs. Raw tag team match, and the logo too, is a hybrid between SD and Raw.
Wed Oct 07, 2009 10:00 pm
Apparently that will be the theme. Not a bad idea, that rivalry has kind of been lost in the shuffle with the mixed PPVs (not that I'm complaining about that, they're better than brand-only PPVs) and the fact there's little surprise when someone from RAW appears on Smackdown and vice versa.
A note about CM Punk's title loss: apparently, the backstage heat rumour
was just that, a rumour.
Richard Gray at WNW wrote:There is no truth to rumors indicating that CM Punk was stripped of the World Heavyweight Championship due to a "dress code" violation on WWE's European tour. There is no "dress code" in WWE and workers are not told to dress a certain way.
As I noted in my Premium report yesterday, CM Punk has his fair share of detractors backstage which could have gotten the rumors started. WWE management is still high up on CM Punk.
From what I've been told, there have been plans to get the World Heavyweight Championship back on Undertaker since his return, and the decision was finalized on Sunday.
Moving on to this week's RAW...Cena vs Orton has run its course. Unless they're looking to move Cena back to Smackdown, it looks like there'll be another change next month. Hopefully that will be the end of it because the feud has lost its appeal. Nothing wrong with their matches or workrate, but I'm tired of Cena's corny promos vs Orton's robotic promos and the constant title switching. It's been run into the ground, both men need to be moved on to new angles with new opponents in my view.
Wed Oct 07, 2009 11:57 pm
I totally agree with you Andrew regarding Cena's corny promo. I am currently watching RAW right now (MVP/Mark Henry vs Chavo/Masters) and Ive seen Cena hyping his upcoming Ironman rematch at Bragging Rights. Imo, that was exaggerating. He even called it "THE RIVALRY". Fuck off Cena.

Cena- Orton will stop in the near future. Orton will have his feud with DiBiase (and Cody probably) rather sooner than later, since Ted will turn face in the next months to promote his movie. I'll be looking forward to that, I wonder if they move the belt to somebody else before that happens (maybe DiBiase/Legacy costing Randy to start the feud).
Thu Oct 08, 2009 3:03 am
Merge the belts. Please. A heavy weight champion and a wwe champion? Who cares?
Thu Oct 08, 2009 3:17 am
it works, they just need to get rid of the unified tag belts are start treating each show like WCW vs ECW vs WWF back in the day. each with their own belts
Thu Oct 08, 2009 7:37 am
When Cena/Orton finishes it'll just go on to like Orton/Triple H and Cena/whoever or the other way around. WWE creative should stick to writing sitcoms or whatever other garbage they were doing before they were hired.
Then again they thought Chavo v Hornswoggle was funny so maybe not.

The guest host gimmick has run its course in my opinion. Some guests are better than others and they make a good case for continuing the gimmick but they take away the focus from the wrestlers, who are supposed to be the show.
Some news of note:
Booker T Unhappy In TNA, Refuses To Lose To Matt Morgan, Possibly Returning To WWEIf was to return to the WWE, I don't think he'll be much happier. With some of the things he said about the WWE after his departure and his critique of the Wellness Policy, he's probably not going to get much of a push. Pretty unprofessional of him to refuse to work a match he was meant to lose, essentially "Kevin Nashing" the situation.
Thu Oct 08, 2009 9:20 am
The guest host selection has been horrific. Shaq was fantastic but most of the others have had little to no purpose. It also makes continuity really difficult since the superstars are feuding with a different guest host every week. They should do it maybe once a month, I definitely want to see The Rock in charge.
Thu Oct 08, 2009 9:30 am
Absolutely, they definitely need to try to get him booked to guest host before they end the gimmick.

Just watched Botchamania 102
Evidently in Hell in a Cell one of the announcers said "Do we have a new champion??!?!?! No, Not Yet" when taker got a near fall on Punk.
it's at 1:50, though nearly everything before it is all HITC botches
Sat Oct 10, 2009 12:29 am
I read that Alicia Fox's push has been put on the backburner, botches like that wouldn't help. Cena dropping the blade is just embarrassing.
Sat Oct 10, 2009 2:04 am
Scott Steiner has the most botches I've seen so far as a wrestling fan. Why that guy is still wrestling, I have no clue.
Sat Oct 10, 2009 3:43 am
"Never mind that shit, here comes Mongo".
At least Scott is fun on the mic.

http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/wwe-news/wwe-no-way-out-now-called-wwe-elimination-chamber.phpUgh...renaming the PPVs after gimmick matches is very hit and miss. Royal Rumble works, Hell in a Cell and Elimination Chamber do not. The name "No Way Out" really suited a PPV that made use of the Elimination Chamber match even if the name preceded the gimmick. As I recall the WWE actually put it to a fan vote, so blame this one on the "WWE Universe".
Sat Oct 10, 2009 9:05 am
Completely absurd if you ask me. No reason to change a perfectly fine PPV name, especially not for names of freaking match types.
So we have Elimiation Chamber, Hell In A Cell and TLC. Great. How about 30 Man Over The Top Battle Royal for the Rumble?
Sat Oct 10, 2009 9:44 am
The infamous APPLE PIE INDIAN STRAP MATCH JACK promos.
Seeing as we've had Submission Only, HIAC and Iron Man matches between the two, I think that the only realistic next step is for Orton and Cena to have an APPLE PIE INDIAN STRAP MATCH JACK match
Good thing there's no match like that at present, else it will be a PPV name.
Sat Oct 10, 2009 11:00 am
That's just crap, Survivor Series is next in line: WWE 5-Man Tag Match.
