Number one was a given. Tracy McGrady and Joe Johnson really should've been candidates for the top ten shooting guards instead, with T-Mac easily making the cut in the top five. I guess he's going to call Shawn Marion a power forward.

I know he's 6'7 but I can't recall JJ at SF. T-Mac should also be listed as SG, but should be above Pierce on this list.

I'm sure there's been games where he's been listed as the starting small forward but I also can't remember him being a regular starter at any position except shooting guard (and for a while point guard for the Hawks, though I wouldn't classify him as one).

Yeah, I always saw JJ as an SG more than anything. As for T-Mac, I know he's an SG for most of his career but he still plays like an SF for me. Either I'd put him on #2 on this list or the SG one.

Since he filled up the shooting guard list and realised that he left out Joe Johnson, that's when he shift Johnson over to small forward instead.

I almost forgot about Joe Johnson but as everybody said here already he should be a shooting guard cause I think Josh Smith plays the SF position on the Hawks if I am right.

I think they list Marvin Williams at SF with Smith at PF. I've seen the Hawks fans on RealGM insist that Smith is a PF.

McGrady is fine here, but Joe Johnson? His secondary position with the Hawks is probably PG, rather then SF.

No surprises with the top, glad that Pierce is so high. I'd bump Lewis ahead of RJ and Peja.

I picked subjectively on who was a SF and who was a PF. (And included Joe Johnson and McGrady.)

On the back end you've got Grant Hill, Hedo Turkoglu, Shane Battier, Ron Artest and Mike Miller.

Better offensive efficiency for more years on better teams.

This is quick, I've just been ranking players by PER (individual usage production) times Win Shares (share of teams wins) with a handful of edits for defense. (i.e. if the former is within say 50 points (which is minuscule, as almost everyone on this list comes in miles from the first three, like LeBron is in the 3000s or something, Anthony is like 750ish.) and one guy (say, Tim Duncan) is an epic defender, I give them a boost over the otherwise equal person.)
