Top 10 Uniforms 2000-2009

Original article, complete with pictures that are worth a lot more than the words in my brief descriptions.

3. Cleveland Cavaliers (wine and gold retro)
4. Chicago Bulls (current away)
5. Washington Wizards (Washington Bullets retro)
6. San Antonio Spurs (current home)
7. New Jersey Nets (New York Nets ABA retro)
8. Los Angeles Clippers (current home)
9. Los Angeles Lakers (white alternate)
10. Detroit Pistons (current home)

I don't think the retros should be featured on this list, to me the list should be comprised of designs that were contemporary at some point during the decade. I'd put the Warriors current away jerseys somewhere on that list and either one of the designs the Sixers used between 2000 and 2009. It's good to see the Celtics, Bulls and Spurs on there though as I like that classic look. The Cavs' blue alternate ranks up there for me as well.

Indeed it wasn't, I was thinking of their contemporary blue alternate.

I also think the Mavs green alternate jersey should be considered.

Yeah it's alright, I like their primary jersey a little better though.

I hate Cleveland, but I really like their "Wine and Gold" alternate. Also the Bulls and Celtics regular jerseys.

If there weren't so many teams with a blue primary jersey at the moment, I'd be inclined to suggest that the Cavs switch their blue alternate and regular wine and gold road jersey as I've grown to like the former a little more.

I am a fan of the Lakers white alternate.

But for me, the Warrior's 'City jersey' is the best looking one on their list.

The cavs retro blue jersey this season should have been on the list.

Should any retros really be on the list though? I suppose they are jerseys that have been worn on a somewhat regular basis through the decade in many cases but they weren't the contemporary designs during that period.

It made Dwyer's Top 10 Worst list. I'm kind of on the fence when it comes to that one, I like it a little more than I did when they first unveiled it but I'm still not a huge fan of it.

The Wizard's black & gold alternate is really a hit or miss imo. I love it. Know alot of other basketball fans that do as well, but just as much that hate it too. I'd rank the Rocket's current road uniforms in that top 10 list, probably over the Bullets jersey.. the Rockets road jersey just has an aggressive design style that most Rockets fans hate. I guess I'm an outlier in that regard.

I agree with Andrew's opinion about excluding retros, that's why it's 2000-2009.

3. Washington Wizards (current road jerseys, except for the gold fonts on the back of the jersey)
