How can i change the weight of a player?

Open appearance.dbf, locate the player you wish to change and edit the WEIGHT column, which is in pounds. Please note that no player names are used in appearance.dbf, just an appearance ID number (APPEARID) that corresponds to the players' ID numbers (PLAYERID) in players.dbf. So, the process goes a little something like this:

1. Open players.dbf
2. Locate the player you want to edit; searching by surname or first name usually works well enough
3. Make a note of the player's PLAYERID number
4. Open appearance.dbf
5. Search for the ID number under APPEARID
6. Change the value in the WEIGHT column as desired

One additional thing to remember is that some players occur multiple times in the database since some players appear on All-Star teams and the like and in Dynasty Mode, there are two entries for players on your team, both of which must be edited (one will be at the bottom of the database). To make sure you are editing the right one, refer to their TEAM field. Team ID numbers can be found in teams.dbf, as well as in a listing in our NBA Live 08 subsite over on the main site.

Can you also tell me how does the Learning number on players.dbf affects players in Dynasty Mode?

Learning is a standard 0-99 rating (albeit hidden in-game), with 0 being the worst and 99 being the best.
