As a big fan of Amir, I hope he does well and gets some minutes. The move will help the Raptors a lot as they gain an athletic big man and drop two players, onto whose positions they just signed two players. (Hedo and Jack.)

Good trade for Toronto, though unfortunately, he'll have a hard time getting much PT with Bosh and Evans. Don't know what Milwaukee is doing. Delfino isn't an expiring, and Ukic is a scrub. Not to mention they are even thinner in the frontcourt.

Up until last season he was a great backup power forward. I think its fair to write off Detroit's disasterous 2008-09 season. If he gets play time, he will be their second best big.

Agreed, though I think Johnson could perhaps ultimately take Evans' place in the rotation. I suppose with Sessions looking elsewhere the Bucks are keen to add any kind of depth at point guard but they'd have been better off keeping Johnson. Delfino's probably not going to get a lot of quality minutes either.

You forgot Sonny Weems. ;)

Anyway, Johnson is definitely an upgrade over Pops, who was still a great third stringer at the 4. Like Andrew said, he could possibly take Evans' place in the rotation in the near future.

He's going to be taking Bosh's place.
