Jamaal Tinsley FINALLY waived by Pacers

Well, it's been a long, long time coming and legal battles were threatened, but Jamaal Tinsley will at last be able to continue his NBA career, away from Indiana.

Finally. I can understand the Pacers not wanting him in their future plans, but what they did to him last year was quite poor all the same and certainly counter-productive to any attempts to trade him. It's good that he'll finally be able to try and move on with his career, but the Pacers really couldn't have handled that situation any more poorly. The Knicks' handling of the Marbury situation almost looked good by comparison, at least they got something done before the season was over.

So, now, no more 2004-brawl survivors.

Nice to see him finally getting a chance to play again.

Real GM says the Sixers are interested in him.

Aw hell no. That means no more Andre Miller.

Worth a shot, I guess.

You were right after all :)

So, now that they lost Miller, singing Tinsley sounds like a good idea. Although Earl Watson is available too.
I don't know maybe they'll just let Williams and Holiday run the point.

That might be the plan longterm, but if Tinsley is an option I'd hedge my bets and try to sign him for a year or two as insurance. If he resurrects his career then great, perhaps they can go with him a little longer. Otherwise, they can bid him farewall and hopefully either Williams or Holiday will be ready to assume the role.

I think after Odom signs with LA, Miami will scoop him up for one year. He'll have a shitty season but start over a better player and get signed to a mid-level deal by some loser team a la Dahntay Jones.

Perhaps, but then Odom's now supposedly leaning towards the Heat again.

Better hope Hershey, PA doesn't get an NBDL team.
