Help in editing gears

in NBA LIVE 08, when i go to edit player and edit the gears, for example, i am limited to the length and position of the default gears available. I saw that in several patches here, they were able to edit the gears of the players. Please teach me how to edit the gears (arm sleeves, bands, etc) accdg to the length and position i want.

this is an example of what i want to achieve. Karl Malone's wristbands are twice as long as the default wristbands available in edit player option of nba live 08. how do i edit it so it will look like this? and also for all the other gears? thank you.. please help me. im doing a patch

Well, you can't (not the way you wanted). You need to edit their arm tats (with FshX and Photoshop) to make a custom gear. Check the Tutorial section if you want to make it by yourself.
