Just download the TUP Roster 4.0. You will find the rookies you need.

You don't create them in DB Commander. You load the roster in-game, create them in Create-a-Player, save the roster, and then edit the values in players.dbf and appearance.dbf as necessary (see the Installing Face Patches guide in the Wiki). When you're done, you re-load the roster and the newly added rookies will be using the face files.

The guide really is put in the simplest of terms. You open up the .dbf files with DB Commander and make the changes as specified by the guide.

What do you mean? Ray Allen should be in the TUP 4.0 roster.

Please don't double post.

You could copy and paste rows using OpenOffice or even MS Excel 2003, though you have to be careful to save the dbf in the right format.

Microsoft Excel or OpenOffice. Those can both be used to open .dbf files. Normally I wouldn't recommend anything other than DB Commander, but those two programs are better for copying and pasting rows of values.

If you want to use face patches for created players, see the Installing Face Patches tutorial in the Wiki. It really can't be put any more simply than that. If you still can't get it, maybe you should just wait for a roster update because I really don't know how else to explain it.
