just set every portrait to zero so it wont show any portrait

I downloaded the final version and all I did was put only the roster file into my save folder. I loaded the roster file and I have protraits, have all the rookies players, and everything. I didn't even run textmod or put the iff files in my nba2k folder. What happened? I thought I had to run textmod and had to replace my iff files? This is great!

I have a problem with that roster.
After I loaded it my opponents don't bring in players from the bench.
How can i solve this?

that cant be possible, you have to alway run textmod to have real portraits of rookies since nobody knows how to edit portraitfiles

When you say portraits, you mean go into roster mode and click on their names and their pictures shows up right? If that is what you mean, I can assure that I am not running textmod. I even restarted my cpu just to make sure I didn't already have textmod running and it works fine. In fact, I have no idea what textmod is nor due I want to know as long as the game is working fine. The only glicth I've noticed is that when you go into edit player mode, the rookies have assinged "ankle socks" which appears invincible. Also, the ratings for the players are really low and Joel Anthony is messed up as he is a white dude and L. Amundson is Chinese. Other than that I'm not noticing any bugs yet.

You say in your readme , that if you dont run texmod , you wont have rookies and portraits...What did you mean by rookies??I dont run texmod , i dont have portraits , but I still have rookies by the roster...Do you mean their faces , or what??( I checked Rubio's and Griffin's faces , and they haved the same face as when as I ran texmod.. )

So, sorry to list another problem, but my only beef is the portraits don't work when I run texmod and when i start an Association they arn't in the Scouting List. I mean otherwise it's great tho.

I really like the roster. The gameplay is smooth. However I have trouble with sliders. I play with juza default sliders. Here are my half-time stats.



CPU has too many fouls. I can't get offesnsive rebounds. CPU takes the shot very fast. Only once in the halftime they took their shot inthe last 5 seconds. Maybe there are more problems (I just haven't seen so much NBA games).
Please help!

Clearly you don't know what the new rookies look like.

To those complaining about the inconvenience of running texmod then DON'T run it.

I really want the portraits!!! But, I do everything I was supposed to in Texmod, Target nba2k9.exe, Select tpf file, RUN IT! But when I load everything (rosters ect.) All of the portraits are the same!!! How do I fix this!? And How did you target the nba2k9.exe in a 2k sports NBA 2K9 folder? I thought you had to install it with steam! NO MATTER WHAT I DO, I CAN NOT GET TEXMOD TO RUN ANYTHING AT ALL!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Just tested this out, here's some feedback so far..
texmod sometimes shows the portraits in the menu or team logo..didnt happen to me using textmod
with albys roster
browsing through the rosters some players seem overrated and some underrated
ex. reggie evans is 78overall with 90 sumthing in post offence
b. bowen 80 overall..
i know overall rating should not be the basis instead individual rating should be but somtimes
the cpu uses it as basis in trades, fantasy drafts etc.

When I use another roster it works.

Edit their rotations and check if your subs are based on rotation or fatigue.
