this happens everytime i play live 2004.. i play sloppy ass defense for the first 2 quarters so the computer is usually up by 20-25.. then i turn up the d and hold them to 32-40% shooting in the last 2 quarters.. sometimes tho i can't complete my rally.. the last few games i've played.. i've cut the deficit to 5 with 2 minutes to go.. only to have the other team shoot the trey like no tomorrow.. this just leads me to pausing the game, switching teams, and throwing up air balls and running out of bounds so i can get back in the game.. problem is my offense is nowhere to be found.. god this game can either be your bestfriend or your worst enemy

It happens to everyone more often than not esp if ur playing with all-star and superstar settings. It's really tough to maintain a big lead 'coz of rallys that happen either by you or by the computer. The technique there is to try to maintain the tempo of the game. Try slowing it down, don't rush the ball, don't take too many 3's during their run or even call a timeout. All of these strategies are what real life coaches do in order to stop the momentum of a run. You just gotta suck it up and play consistently.
Although I have one very annoying bug, the inbound bug. You know the one when the opponent gets a turnover and when its your turn to inbound it automatically says' you committed a turnover and the ball goes back to the computer? I wonder if that ever happend to you as well?
