If you mean art files, I don't know. I don't have any of the mods you mentioned, cause I gave up on this game long time ago.

Replace the players.dbf file from your CT'08 saves folder with this one. I don't know if this will help.

maybe the players that you replaced in this game crash when getting fouled or doing a play (like Bryant, Shaq and Prince). i played '97 Jazz vs. '04 Pistons and i noticed that players who are made in this game, like Ostertag and Stockton, don't crash when getting fouled whereas to other players, like Prince do.

P.S. replace the title of this forum (or thread or topic or whatever this is) so other people could know that this mod has been released..

Most of the players who are already in the game are made the second line. In the first there's 32 in TEAM field which is retired and that makes them disappear from the game.

I can't do it, because it's not me who created this thread. Only cerv and mods can change the thread title.

After looking at the dbf files I also doubt that the problem is there. And if it's somewhere else, I rather won't be able to solve it.

Are you trying to play the '94 Knicks? I remember I had a little problem with them while testing the beta.

And are you getting any error message after the quit?

Anyway, here's that little update I was talking about. I just changed a few values quickly, haven't had time to test it so far, but it should unlock a few more teams to be playable. I set them as NBA teams so it will extend the number of them to over 30, but in play now and every other game mode except dynasty it shouldn't cause any damage, and this mod in overall isn't meant to play dynasty even with 30 teams marked as NBA teams. I've checked if the teams are included in other necessary dbf files and they are, so that won't cause any problems. Please post any problems you notice, maybe I'll be able to solve them.

I'm also not sure if there is art for those teams in the package, but rather yes (well, and if not, I won't make it - even if I had enough time, it's just not my thing).

All you need to do is paste it in this directory (and replace existing file):

My Documents -> NBA Live 08 -> saves -> ClassicTeams08

Be sure to backup the teams.dbf file from directory above before replacing, just in case.

hmmm..look for lal0.fsh onyour sgsm folder, create a copy of it then rename if to lalx.fsh and put it again on sgsm folder..maybe that will fix it..

also the 87 hawks, golden state teams aren't evan in the patch when i play the game why is that?
