I don't get why the Bucks drafted Jennings having Sessions and Ridnour... Ridnour on the trading block?

They should have drafted a PF or C IMO

He was late because he didn't have the guarantee he would be picked in the lottery, that's what Jackson said :P

Updating: Teague to Atlanta, Maynor to Utah and Collison to New Orleans.

Maybe everyone was worried he might be the next Robert Traylor.

Lawson has already gone to Denver.

God fucking damn it. Kevin Pritchard is a great GM yet he passes on a top 10 talent in Blair for Dante fucking Cunningham?!

I don't think it's about picking Cunningham, it's about not picking Blair at this point of the draft.

There is some method to there madness & that's a good move for Denver to give old Billups a rest.

Has Patrick Mills been drafted yet????

Re: NBA Draft 2009

Fri Jun 26, 2009 1:58 pm

He went to Portland. His one good pick.

Re: NBA Draft 2009

Fri Jun 26, 2009 1:58 pm

Damn the Blazers got Mills, I was hoping that my Mavs would miraculously get him, even though they don't need him.

Re: NBA Draft 2009

Fri Jun 26, 2009 2:07 pm

I was hoping Mills would go higher, I'd like to see him succeed in the NBA. While that could still happen, his performance in Beijing last year certainly didn't keep his stock from slipping and at 55th overall he could be an afterthought on a team that already has three point guards. Still, nice to see him make the cut, late as it may be.

Re: NBA Draft 2009

Fri Jun 26, 2009 2:25 pm

Two point guards. Sergio got traded with the rights to Brockman for the rights to Pendergraph. Bayless is versatile enough to play the 2, and if he or Blake gets injured, he's in business. Not to mention he could win a title in his rookie contract.

Re: NBA Draft 2009

Fri Jun 26, 2009 2:34 pm

My mistake, I overlooked that trade.

Re: NBA Draft 2009

Fri Jun 26, 2009 3:04 pm

Yeah I hoped he would go higher too, but at least he's in a situation where he can actually get some minutes. It's always good to see some boys from down making the draft :applaud: . Fingers crossed Joseph Ingles gets picked up in free agency, because he's got some sick game he can shoot the three like crazy & is athletic and can pass well. :D
