Is it worth?

Is it still worth buying NBA Live 09 right now? I played it and it seems like a real fun game. I love doing seasons, trades, seing who i can get by rebuilding teams, etc. But is it worth it or should i wait till Live 10. which seems like 3 months or so which is way to long without playing nba live. Suggestionss?

go for it, make sure you dont pay the full 60 bucks though since the season is basically over and the 365 updates will be useless.

dynasty can be really fun when rebuilding since you actually get to do the training camps in the academy

Where i live i have to pay 40+ tax so around 43 dollars. So you think its still worth it? Or should i keep renting it until Live 10 lol

around 9 dollars a rent for 5 days

I'd just get it, you can always get ~15 bucks trade in at gamestop before 10 comes out if you think it isnt worth it.

True. Thanks man, so i can just buy it for 40 now, and then when 10 comes in ill trade in 09 for 15 bucks, then jus add on 45$ and ill be set?

Dude, order it online from amazon.com. I got one last week, in brand new condition for 26$.

Note that if you get it second hand, you need to purchase an NBA Live 365 subscription seperately. As Jon said, 365 is kind of useless at this point since you won't be getting the daily updates, though presumably you'll be able to get the last update released and all of the NBA Rewind data.

I ended up not playing NBA live after I got disappointed on how the season is played out.
