NBA LIVE 08 Crashing after patch - requesting help

well i've been following this forum for quite a while and i never really created an account but as greedy as this might sound im kind of in a "state of emergency"
i downloaded the TUP patch which is awesome btw and as some others may have proclaimed, my nba live crashes as well
most of the time it crashes right after i attempt a shot (not a layup, a SHOT) which i don't understand why..

i read other options and have searched and i read something about maybe changing the "aaict.viv" <-- i think thats what its called
and i also read about maybe having a too high resolution for my computer - changed that to lowest and still no help
and i finally read that maybe its cause of something called 2x jersey's and 2x courts and 2x armtats which i don't really know what they are -
btw i also tried deleting some files in sgsm cause i read that it could be because of too many files (no help either)

i'm not sure what to do at this stage and i can't even play my game that i've sought after playing with the new tup patch.

Did you downloaded the fixes? If not, download those fixes. It will solve your problem.

do you mean the "TUP vol 1 fix"?
because if you do then yes, i installed it
except when i first ran it, i went ot practice and nobody had a signature shot like i tested lebron first
then after i tried an exhibition game and after the first shot when i released it it crashed, and thats what its been like from now on
except now in practice as soon as i release a shot it crashes there

There's already a volume 2 of the fixes. You might want to check their release thread.

okay thanks, i downloaded the volume 2 fixes and installed them
and now i see an intro like an intro vd and i thought everything would work
and when i take layups or dunks then everything is fine
but as soon as i attempt to take a SHOT it crashes automatically
do you guys know what i can do? please help

run a batch file for sighshots, that should help. search it in the TUP thread..
crashes you mentioned happen if values in players.dbf and aiact.viv don't match.

hey thanks that might work from reading about other replies from using a batch file to prevent crashes
and i looked through the tup forum for the batch file and i found it on around page 53 with someone giving a link to it
but the problem is when i click on it, the link doesnt go to its specified place, it goes to the filefront home page
is there anyway i can find a link elsewhere that has the same thing? or maybe you'd be able to send the file to me?
might be a lot to ask but i don't believe its a big file..from what i know

updates the rosters that u have with sigshots and updated ratings
and download the latest roster fix too

where can i find it? or do you know the specific name or link for it?
it would be great if you did because i searched roster fix in the search but it didn't find anything like that or any kind of files

just wondering if its the right one, but i also was wondering how you use this? because im sort of confused because there's no read me or anything

Just open the right folder depending what rosters you're using (if you're using TUP, open NLSC), copy all files to your roster save and open the bat file. Press any key, wait until the process is finished, go to the game and load your roster. That's all.

when i play the lakers and magic the game is crash but when i play the magic or the lakers to other team the game is not crashed...
what happen..?what will i do,,,please help me please...
