Somehow I'm right when I said that Cleveland will only be defeated 4 times this playoffs. I said that they will only drop that 4 games during the NBA Finals but I'm wrong on that part, I never thought that it will happen in the Conference Finals.

The NBA Playoffs: Where try again next year happens. The NBA Playoffs: Where 66 wins in the regular season means nothing happens.

Did you stay to harass the TNT crew? Were you the one who threw the t-shirt at Ernie?

Whoever threw that T-shirt is my hero. Ernie's face was golden.
lolz^^^

That(66w) and 2 sweeps in the playoffs made them a favorite over the Magic before the series began. Epic fail, so was my prediction.
But it seems CLE will be a serious contender in East for at least next couple years.

I don't want to take anything away from the Magic because it is their moment but what a disappointing end to the season for the Cavs, simply for the expectations they'd built for themselves. It's still a been a great (or at least very good) year for them of course and the leap forward surely has to help their bid to keep LeBron beyond next season but unfortunately for all the good things that happened this year, it didn't come together for them when they needed it to the most.
Meanwhile, congrats to the Magic. They always seemed to be on the edge of the discussion when it came to contenders yet here they are, four wins away from a championship. Easier said than done given their opponent but what a great season they'll have had regardless of what happens from here on out, especially considering they've been missing a key player since just before the All-Star break.

I was sitting at the opposite end of the court.

Interesting thing I noticed though...
Ernie was the only one watching the game. Kenny and Chuck would come out when they had to be on camera, but then they would go right back offstage.
I guess that's where the buffet was.

To put it simply, the deeper team won the series.

I think they have a TV/monitor backstage. So is the buffet.
A meal and a game.

Yeah, I'm sure they do.
It's still kinda shitty of them, but whatever.
Ernie sits really funny when he's taking stats... with his legs spread like this... \/

King James left the playoffs as a loserIt basically criticises LeBron for walking off the court and refusing to congratulate the Magic. I'm certainly no LeBron hater but it wasn't a particularly proud moment for him, beyond the season coming to a disappointing end.
Tue Jun 02, 2009 11:06 am
He did e-mail Dwight afterwards.
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=a ... &type=lgnsJames said he sent an e-mail to Howard following Saturday’s game
I guess he still feels the sting of having the 66 win season for nothing.
Tue Jun 02, 2009 11:11 am
Well that certainly is gracious but it was a show of poor sportsmanship, the same as it was for the Pistons (except Joe Dumars) to walk off the court without acknowledging the Bulls in 1991. I'm not going to demonise LeBron over it, we don't usually make the best decisions when we're upset but it wasn't his finest moment as a professional and I do think Adrian Wojnarowski raises some good points in that article.

LeBron James is a guy who throws up the roc-a-fella diamond hand sign, it's understandable for him to do those actions. I mean, going away without handshakes or hugs. But it's painful, probably he's teary and he probably doesn't want the camera to see him that way. But at least, he sent an e-mail to Dwight to congratulate the guy.
Tue Jun 02, 2009 11:18 am
On the bright side, we get to see him in the dunk contest next year.
Tue Jun 02, 2009 12:36 pm
Well... I guess it shows how disappointed he was. Winning the MVP and 66 wins might have played a factor as well... By the way, how did he handle it in the past?

Hopefully he's still up for that. Whether or not he'll have the creativity to win it remains to be seen but with his leaping ability, he should be able to pull something entertaining out of the hat.
