Any advice for improving the team? I have an offer of Sasha Vujacic for Rudy Fernandez on the table from Memphis that I'm thinking about taking? What do you guys think? I can't seam to find the sweet spot on Sasha's release and Fernandez has a really quick release which I like. I only have 11 players because I released 2 scrubs. They were getting too many minutes when I simmed games. I also know I need more front court depth but can't really figure out any trade that would be worth it.

I'm in my first year in my dynasty and right now I need a guard-forward that can play tough defense and limit superstars scoring but doesn't really put big spg and bpg numbers, can shoot outside but not consistently (although he can be good at clutch shots), can drive sometimes, take contact and finish the play...

I have a question, I'm playing an Orlando Magic Dynasty in the PS2 version, and I was just wondering if can I get LeBron in my team? When I traded Lewis for James and Varejao, the Cavs didn't accept it. Who are the players that I can trade in order to get James? Thanks in advance!

Lewis for LeBron and Varejao is a pretty ambitious offer to make. LeBron's rating can make him a rather difficult player to trade for, you're going to have to make sure that you match overall ratings as that's how the CPU judges value in trades. To that end, an offer of Lewis for LeBron and Varejao isn't close to fair value as far as the CPU is concerned. You'll probably need at least a couple of players on both sides of the deal and the total of the overall ratings on both sides must balance, or probably even favour the CPU for the trade to go through. You'll also have a tough time making the deal work if the Cavs are winning as they'll be less likely to want to give up their highest rated player.

Oh, I see. Any suggestions on how to get some key players? For example, T-Mac. How can I get him? Should I include Superman in the trade?

Well as I said, it's all in the overall ratings; it's the one place where overall ratings are particularly significant. If you can't match the overall ratings with a one-for-one trade, that's when you need to try and balance it out with additional players.

For example: 82 overall for 82 overall is obviously equal value (since 82 = 82). In most cases the CPU will accept an offer like that, though they may be less inclined to make big changes when they're winning. If you make an offer that favours them (say, 85 for 82) then the chances of them accepting the deal are even better.

If you don't have a player with an equal overall rating or you'd prefer not to trade that player, you can often include additional players and offer two good players for a great one and a bad-to-average one. For example: A 78 overall player and a 75 overall play for an 82 overall player and a 71 overall player ensures that you can offer equal trade value without matching the 82 overall rating (since 78 + 75 = 153, as does 82 + 71).

So to get McGrady, your choices are to include a single player whose overall rating is equal or higher than his, keeping in mind that salaries must also match. If you need to include extra players to make the salaries work, make sure the total overall ratings on both sides of the deal are equal. You might have to give up a couple of points on the overall ratings (ie the total you're trading is slightly greater than the total you're receiving) depending on how keen the CPU is to make the deal, keeping in mind that leaves you with less valuable players to include in future trades.

I'm looking to offload some of the bench players, partiucularly some of the PF's. Finding a new SG is my main priority but I don't know who I should be aiming for, I tend to favour the tallers SG's as I like to have a tall team like the Magic in real life. Only players I definetley want to keep would be my starting five with the exception of Gordon.
Any ideas?

Now my team is mostly a 3point shooting team we average around 13 attempts pergame, and i need help on who you guys think i should trade. Im thinking bench needs a lot of work? I dont mind trading anyone other than Kobe, to make my team better. Please help.

You could trade Ron Artest for Rashard Lewis to improve 3-point shooting. OJ Mayo for Maurice Williams so you can have an actual point guard playing PG, and Mo can shoot 3's. You could probably trade Hakim Warrick for a decent starting SF and some good bench players as well.
