I didn't dream or even thought Atlanta would be in the Finals , this brings me back the Golden State v Dallas match-up before .
I just love underdogs .

For anyone who's interested, I decided to elaborate on my choice a little in this article.

Cool. I believe most Denver fans want to see Denver vs Cavaliers finals due to those reasons, otherwise just disliking Lakers or their arrogant fans.

For me, Anthony vs James rivalry just isn't intriguing enough compared to Kobe vs James one. Besides, anything other than reaching finals for Lakers and Cavaliers is underachieving from my perspective as they both were the most dominant teams during the regular seasons so wanthing to see the best teams going at it like there is no tomorrow is a kind of finals I would really enjoy. What would have been better was Celtics making it to the finals this year to face the Lakers again but I do think Cavaliers are a better choice if it was Kevin Garnett less Celtics.

I'd love to see Magic vs. Nuggets. Not so much that I like those teams or am in favour of the underdog taking it, but rather because I would cringe at all the Kobe/LeBron ballriding and hype that would ensue from every analyst.

Oh yeah, and also because Derek Fisher blows monkey cock.

Fair call. Like I said, I prefer the LeBron/Melo "subplot" because of the way their careers instantly became linked when they were drafted in 2003 but I won't mind seeing any of the potential matchups at this point.

I'd love to see Magic-Nuggets square off for the title, but my prediction is Magic-Lakers...

i would like to see denver and orlando go at it in the finals but i fear i wont see either of them. the magic have a chance if they win game 6, if it goes 7 they are done, the nuggets are not gonna see a game 7 imo

I wouldve loved a Melo-LeBron showdown but the Nugs have been eliminated and looks like Cleveland will be the next team to go..

The time the Magic swept the Lakers in the regular season, I wrote in my Yahoo Messenger status, "2009 NBA Finals: Orlando Magic vs Los Angeles Lakers". I never really believed in that, I just wrote it only because of the appreciation for the Magic that for the first time in the 20-year history of Orlando, they swept the Lakers.
