Don't forget how good the Lakers were playing before Bynum got injured last year.

Yep, on pace for an earth-shattering 50 wins!

Wrong, it was 57(25-11 when Bynum was injured) rounded up from 56.9. How many wins did they finish with last season? Hmm....could it be 57?

Last year was the year that Kobe was not a ball hog, he actually deferred to his teammates instead of trying to do it himself. Where were you guys last season?

I remember last season, Kobe started to pick up the pace in terms of scoring halfway through the season. Pdub is right, Kobe came out deffering to Odom and eventually Bynum when Bynum was starting to figure it out. After he went down, Kobe - from memory - did well to steady the ship and then when Pau came in, the Lakers were just seemingly unstoppable.

Kobe the three seasons before that was the ball-hod Kobe.

I like kobe's offensive skills actually the only i didn't like about him was his ball-hog part but i didn't notice last year that he was not a ball-hog since I didn't get to watch Lakers Games too much! so sorry Kobe fans (and also to me since i'm also a Kobe fan  )

Well, they were just 5-5 in the ten games between Bynum getting injured and Gasol coming over. 27-9 after Gasol trade. Not that any of this means anything.

It never showed up in his numbers. His usage in 2006-07 is basically the same as it is in 2007-08. Kobe was never holding the team back with his "ball hogging" (especially since he was their best offensive player efficiency wise) the team was holding itself back by not having good players. Then it got two other all-star caliber players to pair with Kobe and they suddenly dominate the West.

2007-0831.423.940%39%45%
2008-0932.223.837%37%39%

%Ast'd = % of baskets assisted
%F10 = % of shots taken in the first ten seconds of the clock

I kinda like 2004-05 too, 28.5% ast% a career high, only 32% of attempts in first ten, by far his lowest since the Lakers last title. (Most years he's right around that 39-40%.)

Been avoiding this section because of a setback in watching the Laker games, so a sort of late congratulations to Lebron James, phenom player, just some of his fans tend to make you dislike him.

But I guess fanboys will be fanboys whether the player is James, Wade or Bryant.

Wade had a spectacular year, it's just that .. yeah, it's got to be a nightmare being the best player from your planet, yet there's still someone better in the league. Any idea where LeBron's from, someone ?

This is a non-shocker .
A no-brainer pick .
James is the obvious MVP !
Finally , the future is upon us !
