Basket or now? Strange shot LOL

Nate Robinson drained a really strange shot in my last game and I want to know if it would have counted in real life as well. I don't think so.

Robinson shot with one second to go, he released the ball in time...time expired with the ball in mid-air...now it will count...but the ball hit the rim, bounced upwards, hit the edge of the backboard and finally fell in. Basket or not? I think a basket cannot be scored as soon as the ball has hit the backboard.

The commentator said "...with the buzzer beater...no good..."... then "Nate Robinson for three". LOL
Unfortunately, I forgot to record a video of this scene.

I had the ball bounce like that too but i think the basket counts.

2k doesn't really follow the NBA rules with this, but since yours hit the top of the backboard, that is a live ball in the real NBA so that should have counted

Yeah it counts because when the buzzer sounds, Everything is dead.
So the ball can hit the top of the backboard or the shotclock, it'll count.

I had a game where Richard Jefferson hit a buzzer beater that hit the rim, the backboard, then the rim and went in but it didn't count. The game went to overtime. It should have counted, the buzzer didn't sound until after the ball hit the rim.
