Chi-Town choked it up while Philly only needed the Cavs to rest all of their starters, and an overtime period to pick up a 1 point win. For this series, I'm saying a Celtics sweep. The Bulls just aren't very good.

Celtics in 6, there is talk of sitting KG the first two games of the playoffs
Glen Davis isn't fat, he's just abigbaby big boned
Thu Apr 16, 2009 1:43 pm
Celtics in 5 even without KG Boston still tough to beat for the Bulls
Thu Apr 16, 2009 5:17 pm
Celtics in 6, I'm predicting a Game 1 Bulls' upset. Then Chicago takes game 4 at the United Centre. I was greatly annoyed with their inability to close out the season with a win over the terrible Raptors.
It's going to take KG a couple of weeks to get back to the level of effectiveness that the Celtics need him at to repeat.

The further the Bulls takes the Celtics into the series, the better KG will get into a game shape for rest of the playoffs. That's all here.

bulls in 5.
bulls lose the first one ad lull the celtics into a sense of security and then the bulls take over.

Celtics in 5, 6, or 7. Depending on the time they need to rest KG, like what he said:

Um, latest is that KG might not be in the playoffs at all

May be they're pulling a Paul Pierce again.

chicago can be that "Atlanta" team this season, and Derrick rose + ben gordon would be a big reason of Allen and rondo's troubles, Chicago has big + in this series - very deep bench, Bulls pg >> Celts pg, bulls C >> celts C, bulls SG <= Celts sg, bulls PF <<< Celts PF and Bulls SF =>> celts SF, only + Celts have besides KG is chemistry.
i think line up of Miller, Ty.Thomas, Deng, Gordon, Rose is more that dangerous, espessially if they would catch they groove like Heat did in 2005-2006 season Playoffs, noone expect that! but, wait, bulls have another line up: Noah (now 10+ rebs per game), T.Thomas, Salmons (25+ppg at good mood), some one + Hinrich
if Celts bench KG - chicago has ig chances to win al least 2 games!
i pick Celtics in 7

Celtics will win this series even without KG. Ray Allen will elbow Varejao's secret power then again soon.

Haha, saw that. I go for Bulls in 6. How can the Celtics match up with Noah and Miller without KG? Just like what
Diddy had said, the Bulls can be that Atlanta team. Rose + Gordon + Hinrich + Salmons' heavy offensive powers = Allen and Pierce's ass getting kicked.

I'm routing for Chicago, but I'm concerned about their lack of experience. Especially Rose. That's way I'm going with C's in 6.
But I won't be surprised if the Bulls advance in six games.
Sat Apr 18, 2009 12:42 am
Bulls in 7
Boston is without KG, i think we can win all the games in Chicago and steal one in Boston

Hey, Chicago did kill Miami when they were the defending champs in the first round, it may happen again!
Sat Apr 18, 2009 12:58 am
Boston in 6,

Now that we know KG will be likely out for the season, Celtics' chance at repeating the title run is pretty much gone. However, they should still get to a second round for sure and maybe to conference finals. After all they are still a great team even without KG. 18-7 in games without KG this season, proving they're still better than the Bulls in full strength. It'd be a major upset, if the Bulls eliminates the Celtics.
BTW not that I'm a fan of Boston, but I really hope KG will be able to play. Cavaliers VS Celtics was one of the match I was anticipating all year long, but without the best player, it'd be just a black coffee, no sugar, no cream, just plain ding dang coffee.

Even without KG, I still believe the Celtics can win this series. Glen Davis is playing well and Leon Powe is back in the lineup.. Bulls are too young to keep up with the C's.. I say Celtics in 5..
Sat Apr 18, 2009 2:59 am
Boston in 5
And yes, Glen Davis is a big fat baby
Sat Apr 18, 2009 9:44 am
This will be Starbury's breakout series!
Sat Apr 18, 2009 10:55 am
Boston in five. KG's absence gives the Bulls a better chance of getting that token win at home to avoid the sweep but that's as much success as I see them having.
Sat Apr 18, 2009 6:49 pm
I don't believe that KG will be completely out of the season especially when I heard it coming from Doc Rivers. I really do believe that Celtics will win this series.
Sun Apr 19, 2009 2:14 am
As much as it disappoints me to say it being a Bulls fan and all, there's not really much question of the Celtics prevailing in this series. It's how far they can go once they're out of the first round that is clouded by doubt at this juncture.
Sun Apr 19, 2009 2:44 am
Really Andrew? The Bulls have a perfect situation right now, going up against the KG-less Celtics. Not saying they are the favorites, but don't be surprised if Chicago wins 2 or 3 games. Don't forget that 18-11 record the Bulls have following the Miller/Salmons acquisitions.
Sun Apr 19, 2009 2:49 am
True, they've got as good a situation as they could hope for given where they finished and who they're facing. I'm picking them to avoid the sweep but this is a team that lets opportunities go by.
Sun Apr 19, 2009 3:25 am
dont look now but the bulls are up four in 2nd quarter
end of 2nd bulls up by 9! oh yeah!
