DUNKPACK & DESTINY Corrections

As I've mentioned elsewhere, v1.01 will be out within the next couple of days so I'm currently in the process of crosschecking and putting the finishing touches on the soon to be released update. One of the things I'm looking at is fixing up the dunk packages (DUNKPACK) and development (DESTINY) attributes since that's something I missed in v1.00.

I'm also interested in any ratings feedback as always but if you have feedback on the ratings or any other suggestions or issues, please post them in another thread here in the Support section. This thread is for tracking down erroneous dunk packages and development attributes only.

So, if you've noticed anyone who cannot dunk in the game (who should) or young players whose potential isn't properly reflected by their DESTINY rating, please let me know. Note that I'll be combing through the rosters myself to try and fix this but if I miss any, this is the place to let me know.

That's weird, his DUNKPACK should allow him to dunk. I'll change it to 4. Thanks for the heads up.

I don't know if this is corrected or not, but in many roster Chuck Hayes and Scola are dunking, which they shouldn't be.

I feel the dunk packages for those three players are accurate enough but I can take another look.

It seems that Al Jefferson can't dunk
he's got 75 dunkability and package #8, that should make him a nice dunker...
in practice i could dunk with him, but it has been 3 straight games with no dunks though, is it possible that an injury or something like that make him not dunk anymore in dinasty?

It's a possibility I guess but with those attributes it definitely shouldn't be an issue...unless of course you've using a custom aiact.viv file. I can't guarantee compatibility in that case.

i believe it's not an aiact problem because i could dunk in practice

Probably not. It's the only thing that comes to mind offhand though, as I said those attributes should be sufficient.

he's got his first dunk in 6 games, and just one, team chemistry and synergy came to my mind... but don't know if those really affect players' ratings

No, those wouldn't affect his ability to dunk in games.

problem solved, i had him set as PF, when i changed him back to C he got his big men balls back

This is Rafer Alston. I forget his dunk rating, but I'm using your latest update, and this shouldn't be possible. I'm not even sure if he can dunk, none the less have his read above the rim.

Which update (2005-08)? I'll doublecheck his attributes.

This is the last update before the 2009 Draft. This is NBA Live 07.

I doublechecked Rafer Alston before releasing the new version of the 07 update and he wasn't performing any dunks so I'm not sure how that happened. It certainly shouldn't happen in v3.0.

I can't really be sure, but i don't think it was even a dunk attempt. He was at the basket, and then he got fouled and he just sort of jumped sideways, and I noticed his head was up by the rim.

That's nothing to do with the roster patch, that's just a common glitch with the last gen NBA Lives.

Thanks. I thought it might have been in his dunk pack, but this would explain it.

No worries. It doesn't always happen on adjustments and fouls but it's quite noticeable in Instant Replay when it does.
