Official patch and missing players

I wanted to ask should the missing players have new portraits and CFs after the installation of the official patch? (e.g Gortat, W.Solomon, W.Bynum...)
Does my roster need to support this? (tried both Albys' and juza's..)
BTW, I also noticed that new files like pngXXXX_body.iff/pngXXXX_face.iff are in the nba2k folder now, are those files for the missing players? when I download a CF for a missing player do I need to overwrite these?
