I cannot do alley-oops!!!Please help me!!!

Guys I have a big problem with alley-oops,I can't do any (except one to Ilgauskas I did by chance).
In the fast break e.g. I have Mo and Lebron against Fisher,Mo passes but Lebron ends up under the basket only to do that silly fadeaway bank shot with one hand...
However my friend I played against (who I always defeat) got me 2on2 in the fast brake throw the ball with Fisher to Ariza who ended up with a sick two handed dunk over Lebron...
What do I do wrong???My friend does alley-oops at will when on a fast brake or the center is unmarked and his worse than me!!!
I usually use the Cavalliers whose only highflyer is Lebron but I don't think this is the problem because I played with Lebron and Howard against Blake and Paul n Blacktop and I still couldn't do any alley-oops,not even a lob pass for an alley!!!

That's what I'm doing Pdub...

Go to practice mode, select the Eastern All Stars (or any other good team) and practice plays. Dribble to the basket. Sometimes (depending on the play but I can't remeber possible plays...some PG/SF switch or something) other players run to the basket as well...hold the backdown button and press pass...and there you go!

Are you just having trouble completing the alleyoop or is the lob pass not actually getting thrown?

I can't throw the lob pass...

are you making any pass?

dont hold turbo when you are trying to do this because turbo + backdown + pass does a give n go
