SWITCHING OS AFFECTS my FRAMERATE...

Mon Mar 09, 2009 6:00 am

Before switching my OS, my 2k9's frame rate can clinch to 35-38 frame rate, but after I switched to Windows XP Pro SP3(I have Windows XP home before though) my frame rate slows down to 15-19... What do you think the problem?

Yeah it does change when you change os's btw may i ask what version are you using pro version or the home version?

if i were you try vista it really can make your fps higher in my case i tried the 32 bit version of the xp pro sp3 my fps of nba 2k9 will only reach up to 45-55 but when i tried vista ultimate 64 bit my fps went higher it became 60-75

Lulz.

Did you install new Nvidia drivers from their website when you switched or did you just let Windows install drivers?
