who is a better backup shooting guard?

my starters are good perimeter shooters. but i dont have a backup shooting guard. so guys, please help me.

O.J Mayo (81 ovrall) or J. Kapono (70 ovrall)?

imo, i prefer mayo over kapono because he is young and has potentials to become a superstar. but the 91 rating of kapono's 3pt shooting bothers me, thinking it can hit the game winning shot and win the game anytime. Anyway, i have peja as my sf who is a great 3pointer too.

your opinion would be much appreciated. tnx guys.

Mayo is obviously the better player but he's kind of wasted as a backup.

i dont bother taking a backup sg anymore. because everytime i acquire a sg, my team chemistry becomes low. and i dont like that. i just really dont. but thanks for your suggestion sir andrew.

You could actually check a player's chemistry type in Player Chemistry before you trade. It shows your team's chemistry with the player you want.
