Association questions

Some more questions...

1) What is the point of scouting players? You can already view their prospect card with all grades (inside B, outside C etc.) and you also get an NBA comparison of a similar real player. In my current association I found a second rounder with great inside defense and rebounding skills. He has everything I need so why should I assign a scout to him? The potential is still a "?" and his strengths and weaknesses are greyed out but who needs them when I already see his grades? Low-quality scouts do not always get their grades right but if a player has an A in inside defense we won't be any worse than a B once I draft him.

2) Does fatigue result in lowered ratings? Where can I see them? I only see the player's fatigue but no arrows going down or up.

3) Practice results are temporary, drills are forever, right? Do players get tired because of drills or only after a practice?

4) A generated player has a long black beard with a golden something in the middle. It looks very strange. Is this a graphical glitch or should it be some Rodman-ish style?

4 - I think that's a glitch. Been mentioned in one of the threads here.
2 - They start sucking in-game when they're tired or fatigued. By my observation they decline in play when they're stamina/fatigue go below 70. Unless the player's name is LeBron, Chris Paul, or Kobe.

When do players get tired? I play with only 29 games per season so there are many days off in between games. I usually schedule a normal practive two days before a game. I only played 5 or 6 games so far in my association and scheduled 3 practices but all players still start with an energy of 100.

1) You need to scout him multiple times to get a more accurate grade. The weaker the scout, the less accurate the grades are. Potential is very important if you want to improve your player at all. I think weak scouts can be as much as two full grades off, but I forget and I can't find where I read it.

2) This is one of those things that isn't really defined by any kind of number or visual, so I can't define it either. However, from experience, fatigued players seem to tire quicker(of course) during games and miss more layups. I have also noticed that freethrows seem to be harder. Probably everything is reduced on a tired player, but those are the only things I noticed that standed out to me.

3)I believe they only get tired from practices. I can constantly practice on normal inbetween games with no problem. I usually give them one day off either before or after games. It seems that the stamina slider may have an effect on this, and possibly the difficulty level.

Thanks. I think there is something like a documentation on the DVD with information on scouts etc. Not sure though.

With how many games per season do you play? Practice effetcs only last for three days on normal (I think) but with 29 games there are many days off. Does it make any sense to assign practice sessions when the next game is like five days ahead? I don't think so but I still ask to make sure. It's not realistic if there is no practice session for many days because its effects wouldn't last till the next game anyway.
