can anyone tell me how to update my roster?( step by step)

i am useing alby's rr8,as we kown he is patching nba2k so i want to update myself.
just give me an example step by step.
(eg: Lakers trade Vladimir Radmanovic to the Bobcates for Adam Morrison and Shannon Brown.)
1 only modify the players.dbf?
2 which field should i modify?
3 ...

if you are talking about trades, you can just use the trade players function in the game.You dont need dbf editing to do trades.

Indeed, it's actually best to avoid tinkering with the DBFs as much as possible as all basic roster functions can be performed within the game. You should only edit the DBF in situations where you can't access the data from within the game.
