NLSC Current Roster Update v2.6 Released...

A new version (v2.6) of the NLSC Current Roster Update for NBA Live 08 is now available to download here. It contains NBA rosters accurate as of February 11th and updated All-Star and Rookie Challenge rosters, just in time for All-Star Weekend 2009 in Phoenix. I'm planning on releasing another update shortly after the trade deadline, which will also include some ratings updates across the league. This update is mainly just a lineups update as it has been a couple of months since the last release, as well as getting the All-Star Weekend rosters up to date in time for this year's event in Phoenix. Updated All-Star jerseys are included, thanks to bryan055 for providing them.

Unfortunately I missed out on the Marion/O'Neal trade as I'd completed and uploaded the rosters before I found out about it, but as I said I intend to have v2.7 out soon after the trade deadline with that trade (and any others that go down) included.

Portland Trailblazers are always underrated... I wonder why... Starters are below 80 overall, even B.Roy... but rookies like Derrick Rose is 81... nice...

Come on, no need to be snide. As I said I know have ratings to review and will be doing that in the next update. For v2.6, I was mainly focusing on getting the lineups up to date and updating the All-Star/Rookie Challenge teams. If you have any specific suggestions for individual ratings then I'm happy to hear them. I'd also like to point out that overall ratings aren't anywhere near as important as a lot of people believe them to be, but I certainly have no problem reviewing ratings if they are pointed out to me. There are over 400 players in the active rosters, it's easy to lose track of these things.

Also note that overall ratings - the importance of which is also overblown - are lower in the 08 update because of the Fatigue ratings, which are significantly lower than the default scale so as to attempt to combat the substitution issues. Also, because of the way they are calculated, athletic players and those with a high dunking ability tend to get at least a small, often undesirable boost in their overall rating. The individual ratings are more important; if you have anything constructive to say in that regard, I'm certainly open to the feedback.

I do not make shoe patches. If you're worried about the shoes, grab one of the mass shoe updates.

you need to install this first, after installing it the saved game will be on the saves directory.

You're probably using a different appearance.dbf. I'm supposing you imported only his playes.dbf... When you do that, you also have to take appearance.dbf.

when i play east vs west no problem...
but when i play rookie vs sophomore,sprite dunk contest,and 3pt shootout it was played on New Orleans Arena(all-star 2008)
please fix it on NLSC v2.7

hey take you time. dont go all crazy trying to update for demanding users.
im just making trades my self.

I appreciate the support, supreme. A new roster will be out soon though, if not sometime today then within the next couple of days. Just depends when I can get it done in between some other commitments during that span.

Just to update everyone, unfortunately the roster update won't be out this evening as I would prefer to delay it a couple of days so that I can get confirmation on a couple of jersey numbers and see some of the new lineups, since some traded players haven't played for their new teams yet. I'll also take the opportunity to update ratings for several players. Nevertheless you won't be waiting too long, I anticipate that I'll be able to get a new update within the next few days, probably Tuesday or Wednesday depending on when the info is made available and when I can work on the rosters in between my other commitments.

and Sir Andrew if you can update the 3D Logos in select team, coz some are not... I can update them cause I can, but what about others who don't? thank you... just take your time, even if it takes 2-3 weeks ^^... and do what you can do best with those player ratings cause a lot of players really improved...
