T-Wolves Jefferson out the torn ACL in right kneeThe team’s leading scorer and rebounder hurt his knee when he landed awkwardly late in Sunday’s 101-97 loss to New Orleans. He was examined Monday, when the anterior cruciate ligament tear was discovered.
Terrible news for the Timberwolves as he's the future of the franchise (or so it would seem), but hopefully he'll make a full recovery.

Jeez, what a terrible season this has been. Not to mention that plenty of players are hurt, but teams which are supposed to be having their year (Raptors, Clippers, Rockets for instance) are not living up to the expectations due to injury as well.

I agree with Modify, this season's not really good.. Far worse than the last one, just a few interesting things - rookies, AI trade, stuff like that, you know. Really sorry for the T'Wolves and Big Al, that's quite awful for them.

Damn... I was just starting to like Jefferson and he gets iniured

Andrew? Did you say something about Jefferson in the last week?

That happens every year though, though there have been a fair amount of serious injuries to key players. Unfortunate, but the way of the game. There's still interesting plenty of incentive to watch though.

Yeah, it works better when I actually make a prediction or mention the player before these things happen, establishing a link between myself and the cosmic forces of basketball.

Andrew... Can you say something about the Lakers...
Or talk about the Spurs in playoffs, so the Suns can reach any higher?

I could, but I frequently pick the Lakers to win and they usually do so it would appear they are immune.
