http://www.nba.com/dleague/news/2009_dream_factory.htmlKeith Clark (Tulsa)
Patrick Ewing (Reno)
Brent Petway (Idaho)
James White (Anaheim)
~5 minutes for free throw between the legs
So yea, definetly going to try and catch this if they do an internet stream

I think I catched some of it last year, it actually looks quite promising. IIRC Brent won last year, but White is going to nail this year.

Awesome stuff, a shame Petway and Ewing were cut during training camp. Or they could just do NBA vs D-League in the dunk contest with a field of eight overall.

I like this one more than the NBA Dunk Contest.

OMFG!!! Ewing, Air Georgia and Flight96 in a dunk contest?? Awesome, Mr. James Flight96 is gonna win it though

Last years NBDL dunk contest wasn't very good, imo. Looks like it could be better this year, even better than the NBA one. Hopefully I will be able to catch it.

What I like about some of the highlights of the NBDL contest participants is the amount of tricks and level of flair with the basketball and nothing else. Much as I like some of the gimmicks in recent years and the creativity behind them, they've starting to overshadow the dunks a bit to the point where players are throwing down somewhat "basic" (though admittedly powerful) dunks and getting high scores because of the gimmick. Dwight Howard's lob-then-tap-off-the-board impressed me a lot more than the Superman "dunk".

Depends, sometimes those thunderous and powerful jams are as good as a dunk can get, something like VC did, it wasn't all 'bout creativity there, y'know.
Tue Feb 10, 2009 10:18 am
True, but not necessarily in a dunk contest where people are getting more creative.

James White won, but I didnt get to see it.
Did anyone find out where to watch it or where there might be a recap?
Sun Feb 15, 2009 1:48 am
James White is making some great dunks but somehow they don't look very impressive to me. Maybe it's because i was a big fan of MJ and Clyde who both had fantastic looking air time.
Sun Feb 15, 2009 3:40 am
I guess if you watch TNT all day they might show some highlights from it.
Sun Feb 15, 2009 11:26 am
Last year's contest is up on YouTube so chances are this year's contest will be up there soon enough.
Sun Feb 15, 2009 11:34 am
been searching youtube every hour, sorting by date added
its going to be impossible to do that in about 2 hours after the NBA contest
if I find anything Ill post it, but if someone else finds anything, post it up
