I like how as soon as the celtics start winning again...the roaches start comming out to play. Hehe...i'm also happy the two nlsc trolls can find amusement with themselves (showerfun?) trying to flame me when i'm not even around. Sorry if i have better things to do other than hang around on this forum all day....i've been a busy man. Key word being "man" with other things to do than trying to reduce weight from my fat bad word ass, showing fake before and after pics and pining over fake girlfriend pics I got off the web. "Look at me..i'm on the nlsc and msn all fucking day but it's cool cause I have an away sign so that means i'm not at the pc all fucking day". kids ffs. . Get at me bitches....i'll reply when i feel like it. (Y)

Anyway....good job by the celtics getting back on track. They obviously figured out what was wrong with them defensively etc and fixed the problem. I never tried to say they were gonna be a bad team forever but I still believe they were unraveling until they realised the problem.

Now im off to work...I have a job. Something "Fatthew" and "Jackass" wouldn't know about. Have fun with your essay replies while i'm away kids.

I can't speak for anyone else but I wasn't trying to call you out when I bumped the thread. They were legitimately struggling, they may struggle again before the season is over. But they're doing a pretty good job of putting that stretch behind them. The Celtics, Cavs and Magic alone are going to make the East interesting this year.

That's interesting considering your last post was 215 words of gibberish, while my last post was 34 words.

The Celtics aren't bad, and they won't become bad for the remander of the season.

With that being said, and I know I'm getting flamed for this. I still think the Cavs could beat Boston in a 7 game series IF Bronbron gets home court.
If he doesn't, It could go either way.

The way I'm looking at it is this, Celtics nearly lost to the Cavs last year, I think what decided that was home court advantage for the final game.
This year, the Cavaliers have aquired Mo Williams which makes them even more of a threat, and the Celtics got a little worse this season. Sooo....

I think that's a fair call, the Cavs are playing great this year too and they certainly have a shot. The Celtics are the defending champions and they've been playing great basketball with the exception of that nine game stretch so I think it's only fair to say they're still the team to beat but I wouldn't go so far as to say the Cavs and Magic don't have a shot at coming out of the East instead.

While I agree with you about The Cavs being favourites if they get homecourt, and they are better then last year, I won't concede that Boston is worse then last season. Also, Cleveland has never had the pressure of being a number 1 seed and being a favourite to make the finals, we'll see how they handle the pressure.

Losing James Posey has left their bench a bit weaker though. However, with the way Eddie House is playing at the moment I think he could ease the loss of Posey as a spot up shooter off the bench when needed but they might at times still miss him at the defensive end. If they're worse this year it's not by much and not nearly enough to take them out of contention.

Yup, losing Posey was a big hit. Also, PJ Brown was kinda underrated while he was there, IMO. I guess they're counting on the development of Perkins and Big Baby.

Well, no, that's still not allowed. Jao elected to contact Yohance about that privately about it but since things are getting very personal here it bears public mention too. If you can't be nice, be civil. If you can't be civil, maybe it's best if you Foe one another. Whatever you decide, let's not have anyone use any racial slurs. Let's stay on topic here.

To that end, the Celtics won their 11th straight today despite KG's absence and maintain the league's best record by a slim margin over the Cavs and Lakers. It's shaping up to be a tight race for the prize of homecourt advantage throughout the postseason.

Agreed, Posey's absence is gonna be felt more during the playoffs, when he was defending his ass off, taking some big rebounds and hitting some 3s last year. I liked PJ Brown too, an experienced post defender with a good mid-range shot, that always proves to be very valuable during the playoffs.

The Celtics play the knicks this week, I am really nervous. New York has been playing well, winning 3 straight and 6 of there last 7. It's nothing compared to an 11 game win streak but they are playing fairly well. Such a hard week for New York, we need an upset somehow.

You never know. The Celtics appear to be back on track but I highly doubt they'll go undefeated the rest of the way. They'll at least drop a couple here and there, the Knicks could have everything click at the right time.
