Keep my created player with rooster update (PS3)

I just got Live 09 for PS3. I updated the rooster from EA (?) Then created my player. Saved it.

If there is another update, will I need to re-create my created player again?

Is there a way to save my created player to be used with each rooster update?

You could try putting your saved player in your EA Locker, you might be able to import him that way. Other than that, there's no way to import players between rosters.

Can someone explain to me what EA Locker is? How do I do it?

The EA Locker is a place where you can upload (and if you like, share) saved files. It should be in the online menu (not sure what it's called on PS3, on the Xbox 360 it's called Xbox Live) under My NBA Live 09 Online.
