I miss the cutscenes

whatever happened to the cutscenes? Players don't argue with the refs anymore? this is so not realistic

I don't really miss the cutscenes from NBA Live 2003. They're not really a huge part of the game, I'd much rather have the improvements of Live 2004 over Live 2003's glitz. Besides, those "courtside comedy" scenes got irritating after a while.

Besides, players shouldn't argue a call when they clearly step or throw the ball out of bounds.

Players argued when they intentionally foul in 2003.

That's right. They were also too random - Tim Duncan would get worked up and argue with the referee over a call that was a no-brainer, and Brendan Haywood would push MJ in the chest to get him to pay attention during a timeout.

I get your point, Andrew. I didn't like courtside comedy either but at least they should have some cutscenes when the subs come into the game and players celebrate after big basket.

I wouldn't mind cutscenes like that, though they do get a little repetitive after a while.

live 2003 got TOO annoyin with cut scenes. id like em if they had a really large pool of different ones. why not use a 3rd cd for cutscenes to install, games are already 3 and 4 disk long now.

it could add to realisticness, but imo, the way it was done in 2003, took away from realism.

Ugh, I don't miss them at all. I got so sick of watching Byron Scott whistle from the sidelines... it felt like it was like every other play sometimes!

I was playing Live 2004 as Cleveland in a Home Game with a Sold Out Crowd and LeBron James did this sick dunk dunk...and then he stood there after the dunk and swung his arms in the air all ghetto like and the whole crowd just got out they're seat and screamed like there was madness among them i thought it was tight

one of werid cutsenes...for example a horrid Center like Bateer and at half time ppl will ask for his autograph...then the coaches are yelling at the players....and when one wins a championship even a 59 rating center in Live 03 get to hold the trophy   cuz they think that team has the best center and is gonna win year after year u know which team i'm talking about  and rookies pushing a veteran's chest during a timeout...huh not likly ...they should make realistic cutsenes like Rasheed Wallace smoking weed in the home court...
