installation problem

Talk about NBA 2K9 here, as well as all previous games in the NBA 2K series.

installation problem

i'm trying to install the game in my other computer... after i put in the disc, it installs Steam..,..after installation of steam it updates platform (or sumthin)..but it just does that and then nuthin comes up next....any suggestions?

Maybe you should uninstall steam and then install steam from the web, rather than the one from the disc.

i need help on the "Updating Steam Platform" part....it's updating but 30mins had passed and it's still at 0%....what the f is this?

i wanna play my 2k9!!! help!!!

Let it finish? Get a faster internet connection? I don't know.

i do have a decent connection... it just always get stuck at 29% sometimes 32%. and it's just steam.. then it goes back to 0%....i'm still not at the nba2k9 update part.

Exit steam, navigate to your steam installation folder and delete your clientreigstry.blob file - then restart steam, and see if it downloads faster.


Found that through google search. The other solution was to exit steam and then restart it.
