how to play D in the paint and defending vs CPU?

Postby wisewag on Sat Nov 29, 2003 1:41 pm

its so hard to defend the CPU, esp when i double team with my pointguard, and they give it to their point and he scores an easy 2, and also their big man easily dunks it home. how could those be limited?

Play zone? Double with someone else? Also try to use the defender to muscle an opposing big guy out of the lane or front him before the ball arrives.

yeah his right, also try and put pressure on the guy dumping the ball into the post, passing is all about angles....... the easiest way to stop something is stopping it before it happens.

their PGs seem to score easier than our controlled PGs .. in superstar/all-star

when i defend the players.. i i always hold the free style button and direction key to their body. pushin them off.. that seems to work
and always stay infront of your man .. much easier with a controller i guess.. and jump towards all shots.. double team in my opinion isn't the best way to play since they make their jumpers wiht a little bit of daylight

I play D with my center... i get 4 to 6 block a game and at least 13 boards and my scores are low... check my dynasty out..

quick shots

Postby wisewag on Mon Dec 01, 2003 2:15 pm

thanks, i'm alos wondering how could the pc do the quick lay-up in the post, its to quick for anybody to defend. iT goes like this, thier big man is near the post, then a suddenly a pass, and then a quick layup shot. I was wondering what buttons could those be..

PS
and to all the guys who play superstar, at 5min Q, what slider settings is ideally adjusted? But none the less i think m doing good enough with a 72+ scoring average and a 23-5 record in a 28 game season using DALLAS
