The Memphis Grizzlies had been bought by Celtics’ owner Danny Ainge, also becoming the first owner to own 2 teams in NBA history. “What better thing than owning 2 teams, I would love if both of the teams played each other in the Finals this year but that’s unlikely as I have to do much to this Grizzlies team.” Danny Ainge a genius of the owner had recently added Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen to the Celtics, who are hoping they will be in a playoff run this year. As for the Grizzlies, Ainge will do all in his power to make them a playoff team. “Yeah I think this team is mostly young and that we could do something to improve this team.” Well all we Grizzlies’ fans can do now is wait and see what will become of this team.

Only within eight days of being the new owner of Memphis, Ainge has acquired another superstar to go with up-and-coming forward Rudy Gay. So you probably want to know, well it is the one and only Jamal Crawford of the New York Knicks. The Grizzlies ended up trading Marc Gasol along with Jaric. The Knicks traded Crawford for the two because of their dire need of a big forward, which is where Gasol came in. Jamal will be a great addition and scoring component of the Celtics as he proven he is an all around talent averaging 17.7pts along with 3.3 rebounds and 4.4 assists. Jamal is due to start at small forward giving us the impression that Rudy Gay will most likely be playing power.

Danny Ainge is at it again for the second time this season as he receives Derrick Rose the number one pick of the draft for Warrick and Crittenton. “I think with the addition of Jamal and Rose we will be a new threat in the West and will be a surprise entry into the playoff this year.” When ask if he is expecting anymore moves he replied “At the moment no but we are under the salary cap and seems to have a weak front court we’ll see how that plays out and if we need help I got a few players in mind.”

Here we are at the Grizzlies opening game against Mr. Tim Duncan and the Spurs. The Grizzs will try and win their first game at home against a powerhouse team. Their starting lineup is as followed and our view of what he can do for the team:
C-Antoine Walker: A player known for being a forward but has been seen as a player who can also play C as he is quite big, he is getting old and the Grizz will soon look for a better center.
PF-Rudy Gay: A forward and guard you is bigger than the average small forward so he is capable of playing power, soon to be all-star.
SF-Jamal Crawford: A shooting guard usually but can really play both the point and small, good addition to any team, is a star in his own rights.
SG-OJ Mayo: The third overall pick by the Grizz, seen as a future star in this league and one of only 2 starters to actually play their right position.
PG-Derrick Rose: The number one pick by the Bulls, later traded to the Grizzs, is already a floor general and will have instant impact.
Well that’s our starting 5 and we’ll see you at the game tonight.
