Yo juza, did you change something in the settings for roster v.3.0.1? Because I don't really want to have to change my controls and settings again. By the way, if you need help with portraits or accessories I can help.

the main issue is not about user sliders....i want to avoid those laser passes and backdoors inside the lane..this is what i need to reduce...and this is the reason why PIP are so high....if you play pro everything run smooth,but increasing level to all star the engine - game becomes insane.
i believe we have to tweak cpu close/mid/attack basket/ dunk a little bit. Please feel free to test it by yourself with your own adjustments and post your comments here.

i don't know if there is a way to erase those plays from playbooks. if there's no play like that in the playbook there are no backdoor cuts and that's it... i think defensive pressure should be toned down a bit for both cpu and user. in nba guys get open on the perimeter all the time, especially pf-s. on all star level this doesn't happen so cpu and user are both forced to run the ball inside which means high fg% and insane number of pip's. i'll try reducing defensive pressure drasticly! i hope that means more sparation between guards and players, they just play too tight. also maybe we should play more zone defense and allow more jumpshot opportunities?

sounds good bro.
make these steps:

- reduce defensive pressure in the same percentage for all teams ( pay attention,this can produce more 3pt shots!!)
- increase zone defense ( it could produce the same isue allowing always a player for a wide open shot from the 3pt arc)
- reduce run plays for each team

decreased pressure by 15, increased zone by 20. they don't drive inside like crazy but they shoot lights out from the perimeter. i played against the hornets and they scored 38 points inside but they still shot 64% from the field. on the other hand i still couldn't gain enough separation on offense. i post up, pass the ball to my center on the low post, guard comes to help out, i pass to my perimeter guy and as i start to shoot their guard runs toward my guy and blocks a shot. that's stupid. as far as i'm concerned all star is broken and can't be fixed.
i mean, i can win any team on all star but i have to pound the ball inside and score like 70 pip couse you can't shoot from perimeter. it's like they know the play in advance and they act on it. it sucks big time.

this is interesting. please set the defensive pressure between 4 and 7 for every team (those that have 57 should have four, those with 62 should have 7), and increase zone def. by 30. and try it. knicks shot way too manny 3p's but other teams played good. and i had enogh separation on offense to shoot mid range, and lanes were cloged so i couldn't drive to the hoop. i have to go and work now (night shift :( ) but please try this and tell me what you think.

About superstars' domination - According to me something's wrong with the Lakers, because Wade in Miami and Lebron in Cavs take more shots than Kobe(from what I've seen so far in my games).

About PiP etc - Doin' this I think there's too many 3p shots by the CPU. and it's little too easy for a player to knock down shots, because you're almost wide open, defender will stop you from penetration, but he's too far away from you to prevent an easy shot. Maybe players' shooting skills are set too high and players should not making open shots that easily. In fact lot of big men in the game have too good jumpers from mid range and also too high fg% from the paint, if U don't block CPU's big man, he'll make the shot 8-9/10 times. Maybe lowering stamina could help, 'cause tired player tend to miss more often...aaaa...and one more observation, big men are too quick/fast (in comparison of smaller ballers), they're drivin to the lane too much and some guys even are tryin' to crossin' over (lol)

- decreased close shot for big man ( C PF )
- decreased stamina for big man
- re-edited coach profiles:
- lowering defensive pressure in 4-9 range
- increasing zone defense by 30

Don´t know if you noticed but Heat´s Moon is number 8 and not 41 like in your roster, just a heads up because already updated the number in my game. And I know Heat´s Luther Head will be number 13 and Suns Swift number 4.

after playing some games 4-9 is still a bit too low. players tend to get stuck in traffic way too often. i'll test a bit higher ratings (10-15) this afternoon.

this is evening i ' m going to release a new eta v3.0.1 cause i'm not really satisfied with the previous version where on all all star level "cpu inside the lane fest" was getting on my nerves:
Now everything seems at a very good point but i will ask you to test it and post your comments in order to "reach the perfect gameplay":

- decreased close shot for big man ( C PF )
- decreased stamina for big man
- revisited many shot frequencies
- superstars now are very impressive and more dominant than before
- re-edited coach profiles:
a) create more space between the ball handler and the defender to guarantee more mid js
b)increased zone difense for each team by 35: due to this i lowered mid shot qualities for PG SG and SF in the same percentage.

maybe there's something to adjust about 3pts cpu jack off but i'm not sure cause i tested only few teams ( lakers/ Heat/ Blazers/ Bucks/Bulls) and they are perfect.

hi Electro,

if you lower defensive pressure to that range you have to put your attention also to close / mid / 3pt ..so look out to what you're going to change cause everything has to be perfectly balanced.

i played against the jazz last night with the bulls. they had deffensive pressure 6, and i left their default zone presurre on. i played with the bulls (defensive pressure 8, didn't change zone). they shot only 15 3p's, so i was happy. but my fg% was way too high (63%) so it wasn't really challenging. my goal was to test how the defense reacts, ballancing everything should require more work, and i don't have any formulas so i could only do it through trial and error.
anyway i'm looking forward to testing your new rosters ;)

eta versione v3.0.1 rlsd update 1st page:

- shoes pack v3.0 included ( roster perfectly compatible)
- cpu "drivin insane the lane" drastically reduced
- last trades till 03.06.2009
- decreased close shot for big man ( C PF ) ( due to the huge user fg % also on all star level )
- decreased stamina for all players
- revisited many shot frequencies
- superstars now are very impressive and more dominant than before
