Can someone help with the portraits? It doesn't work here.

I put the .tpf into the NBA2K9 folder, added them in texmod and then launched the game, but portraits are all wrong, e.g. those of rookie players. What exactly do I have to wait for in texmod and what could be the problem?

About crashes in association - it is very strange. I just simulated one season with the Mavs, I fired, traded and signed a bunch of players, but I didn't got any crashes. In what point your association got crashes? And you played 82, 58 or 29 games season? I have to find the problem before the next release. Most likely I forgot to include some files.

82 games, without transactions. It crashes during 1st offseason (don't remember exactly when though). Could it be because of some files in 2k9 main folder that might be incompatible with this patch?

Try to start association with the default association settings, with trades etc. And then try to simulate again. I really have no idea what's the problem, because for me everything is working well so it's even tougher to fix it. Did you use 2ksports official patch?

i've installed per Steam, so it should automatically update 2k9....it's strange cause i got this problem at the another patch of babyface ...you can try san antonio without signing players..... and it works....could it be that the crash depends on habeet or rubio , may be.... i'll try it with other rookies and post my results...


BTW: that could'nt be...such a great patch and this fuckin bug, "mistake" , whatever....

THANK-YOU! This is my problem too! I cannot fix this! Sorry I could not be any help but I can't get any portrait patch to work with texmod! Can anyone help us!!!!! Spaky, how did you get yours to work?!

I simulate 3 complete seasons, no problem.
Maybe its a protraits problem ?
Because I can't put the portraits. Maybe it workd for you (portraits), an it is the problem ??

I started with Celtics, sign Griffin and Jrue Holiday and simulate 4 season no problem, then I started with Celtic too, but i sign thabeet and rubio...1 st offseason it crashes ( free agency)

Fenriz-hc - try to run the game without texmod, then simulate and sign rubio and thabeet. We'll see what happens!

He Spaky...i simulated with signing thabeet and it works but with rubio it crashes.......( without textmod)
i changed the iso move by hades editor ..may it depends on that?

I'll take a look at Rubio. He maybe is a problem. Did you use any face patches for him? Maybe chinoy's update? Or it's a default Rubio I included in the pack? For which player you changed iso move? Rubio or Thabeet?

It the ´Rubio of your patch.....i changed the isomove of rubio.......i've tested thunder with signing stephen curry / earl Clark and it doesnt work....so rubio himself is not the only problem.....
i hope i can help you. with testing the diffent rookies

No ...just change the ISO Move for Rubio...not more....i change that with hades editor.
i've tried it with textmod and without but its always the same result

yeah...but this could cause i had albys roster and babyface roster , too , so it could be that the game crashes because of the mixed files such as the iff files

Well, we are going forward! That means problem isn't in the roster file, it's something other. Try this - delete all roster, settings, game sliders files from your roster. Put only MRU in your saves map. Then run a game, and without any changes in settings or sliders go in association and sign players. It could work.
