that' the weird thing....BTW i received new datas to balance team ratings working again on player tendencies. Hopefully release within the end of this week. I think it's going to be the final release cause i'm tired to spend again my free time on it.

Thnx a lot juza, ur work is awesome anyway =). The new 3.0.7 Game Sliders workin like a charm (with the previous i couldnt get a shot to fall ;p). Im playin @ superstar and its always close games against cpu. However, i might have to change the foul rating coz both me and cpu find ourselves to the free line more than a lot ;p.

Tip: for those that aint usin real FTs(like me) u should decrease the free line shoot difficulty from 100 to 70 or smthin coz u wont get easily free lines shots to fall =)

Haha, did I say something wrong? I have posted a couple of times recently because I have some issues and was wondering if I could get a bit of ideas. Ouch at being ignored :(

Here are the quotes

hepemo wrote:juza1971, thanks for your hard work.

I have two problems, somehow after I installed this latest version the commentary volume is extremely low, I can barely hear it, I've tried multiple combinations in the audio options and I haven't been able to make the commentary volume be higher... it's at 100 and I can't hear them.

The other problem I have is that there is too much fouling in my game, especially 2+1 situations. Virtually everytime I jump for a block or I try a steal, it's a foul. The game stops too much.

I had the previous version 3.0.6 and these things didn't happen.

I play 3 minute quarters, mostly head to head. I was wondering if you could help me adjust things so the gameplay is more enjoyable. I am new to NBA2K.

hepemo wrote:juza1971 thanks for your hard work.

I am new to NBA2K and have been enjoying it. I mostly play head to head games with my brother, 3 minute quarter. I was wondering if consider your latest sliders ok for that? Even when playing in single player I can't afford to play 10 minutes long quarters :|

If you think the sliders could be tweaked to make it better for that quarter length please let me know, I am a noob.

The hardest thing I have had to deal with so far is the cpu's offensive rebounding, don't know if I have to do anything else other than time my jump for the ball better, but I give up too many offensive rebounds.

Thanks :)

well i think he's right... i also found quite difficult to beat the thunder as a CPU...

anyway, i'm looking forward to those new data you received, can't wait to see them released... thank you very much for your hard work on nba 2k9.

Your questions are pretty basic. You could find the answers on your own if you read a little more about the game instead of asking for the answer to be handed to you. That is why no one has responded.

Not sure on the audio. Try deleting the settings file and see if default settings restores your audio. It seems more likely something else changed on your system that is impacting the audio rather than these files? As these files shouldn't impact how the game plays audio other than setting it to the volume Juza plays at. Check your windows audio settings make sure they aren't low for the overall volume control and wave.

The fouls are higher, but you can adjust the settings to how you like it. In game sliders there a tendencies page with 'commit fouls' you can lower. There is also options -> NBA Rules with the foul rate. Those got a big bump in the latest pack to 100 or near 100 for most. Reduce the tendencies to see fewer fouls taken and the rules to see fewer called.

If a set of sliders work for X minute games they will work for any length you desire. Most just give the time and difficulty they prefer to get 'realistic' stats. Play however you want. I play 6 minute quarters and double the end game totals to see if I am close to real NBA.

Offensive rebounding is going to be random. If it seems unrealistic up your defensive rebounding in the game sliders or reduce the CPU offensive rebounding.

What do you do with rebounding? It's the only one I have a problem with. I'm contemplating cheating like setting my PG as the C. Hehehe.[/quote]

Hahaha, I'm not sure really. I just make sure I box them out because you get extra points for boxing them out then I hold sprint to do a super rebound. If you find it hard cos you are using a player who is crap at rebound and he is up against a player that is really good at rebounding then you don't have a chance. You could swap him out. It's not really cheating. You are just training. Its like in real life and putting Courtney Lee trying to practice his rebounding against Howard or Gortat. Its not going to do much for Lees progress. C to pg is a bit much though

Also I have only been doing the rebounding training with players who can already rebound well (Howard, Bosh, Bargnani's height etc) and I just want them to be beasts on the boards. I haven't tried the rebounding dev with a smaller or crappy rebounder so maybe thats why I haven't ran into any troubles with the rebound dev.
But like I said when I do the passing dev with a crap passer and a real fast lengthy defender it is bloody tough and I gotta swap bosh out for bargnani who is slower. So the difficulty of the development is the skill of the player you control and the defender I guess.

All Star level is now playable with the sliders.Great work juza!I am playing 12min/qrtrs so i reduced game speed to 46 but still i can't decide if 46 or 48 matches the true speed of nba games.I would like your view on this matter juza. Also i think that rebounding should stay at default.Surely increasing off reb gives more accurate stats in total off reb but here the problem is that if cpu grabs the off rebound will 99,9% score under the basket and will not pass outside for another 24sec play.So if cpu grabs 13 rebs(which is a good true average) that automatically leads to 26 PiP only by off rebs. Also, commit fouls for cpu must be at 25 with the 85 foul shooting setting.

off /def reb. are definitely fixed with those sliders believe me. IT's not true the fact if cpu grabs 10 off.rbds they score 20 pts...absolutely, take a look to the close shot success set to 43; one more thing, fouls should be as they are cause they produced from 20 to 30 pts per game avoiding PIP ..take a look at this nba stat:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/statistic ... ue&split=0

Denver leads with more than 30 FTA ,Spurs last with 19 FTA.

Great stats.Maybe your block outs work better than mine.I'll try harder in this area. Can you post please your settings in these areas:Shooting Fouls(85 or 80?) and game speed.thanx!
p.s. great win there against the nuggets.i always have trouble beating them with the jazz.they mix things a lot in the offensive area and they are tough.

First of all...It's Oklahoma. Secondly, don't talk about my team, we just need a big man. Thirdly, we've beat the Spurs twice this season. Give us 2 or 3 years...and we'll see who's boss.

If Blake Griffin goes to Oklahoma, then you got yourselves a big man. (Y)

That would mean many problems. Young Gunners on the come up!

Westbrook, Durant, Green, Griffin, Kristic. Solid.

Anyway, can someone please let me know if there is a Juza Roster out there with real shoes 4 or 5, where the colors of the shoes already match correctly. Every team that I play has shoe colors that don't match the Jersey at all. Could I be using the wrong shoe pack maybe?

I was the one who fixed Juza's Roster for RSP 4.0. It's perfectly compatible. You're probably using the wrong shoe pack.

P.S. Here's to hoping the Number 1 Draft Pick goes to OKC!

back again....i 'm just re-editing overall tendencies to create more separations between strong teams and average ones. This evening i'm going to release the whole pack including again shoe pack v4.0 new roster settings..sliders remain the same...results are awesome..trust me.
