The gameplay is out of this world, compared to years of live playing. It's got so much depth to it. I made alot of patches since I got the game, but sadly I won't be able to patch much in the near future, I will be very busy.
I knew this was a chance which was why I tried to patch so much lately while I had the chance. I don't know when I will be able to get back to playing 2k9 and patching again, but I will release what I have got. I spent more time on some then others. Some players I only changed their skin colour or made their nose or mouth a little smaller. Or there cheeks a little fatter. I decided to include them anyway. I included a text file in the rar file to say which player is which number. When I first downloaded all the patches a few weeks ago, I had to manually copy/paste 150 odd players out of zip files on by one. 
I have done this patch so that you can just copy paste them all straight into your game folder, if you want to use them. Putting each player into their own folder is a nightmare to install. I included Thabeet, but I don't think it's very good. I didn't do a preview pic, but there is one already in this topic. You could use it if you have nothing better, but it needs work. Btw I stuffed up Gasol preview pic, but left is new. Some aren't that good but the base was bad (like Farmar or Evans) so I did the best I could. I wanted to do some other ones that bug me, like Calderon or Boozer but I don't have time now.
I included new jersey pattern texture. The texture came from a high res pic of Barbosa's jersey. It's slightly exaggerated so that it's more visible from a distance, but if your running FSAA then maybe it's not so noticable. It's from global.iff file, but my global file is a combination of other ones, so I won't share it. How to install is to open global iff, go to 503 and click and drag the new texture into iff editor box. This only works if you already have a decompressed iff. You can decompress an iff by opening it with Nba2k9IFFTool_en.exe. If someone wants to include it in their global iff they have permission. Everyone has permission to use my patches.
