Xbox 360 Controller Fix

For those of you that are used to the Xbox 360 controls this fix will allow you to use the triggers like they are for the Xbox 360. Basically it disables the problem encountered with the bumpers and triggers.

* It is a simple install.
* Then once you have it installed find the program (on vista it is you can access the exe in control panel it is called XBCD Setup Utility)
* Open XBCD utility up and then go to Windows (second tab)
* Then on the column entitled Z uncheck the box next to on. This will allow the left and right trigger to be pressed simultaneously in game.
* Click apply, then save.
* Now go load NBA 2k9 and fix the buttons to your liking (when you assign the left and right triggers it should be button 11 and 12 instead of saying Z axis, that is how you know you did everything right).
* In game the triggers should be able to work just like on the Xbox 360. Triple threat should work etc....


Hope it works. I have Vista so if this version of XBCD do a search to find XP. This isn't my program I just searched online for awhile and figured it out so asking me detailed questions I probably won't be able to help much.

I still can't do the hesitation as well and other isomotions are not working but I am running this on a slow PC. This does at least give you the triple threat stuff and doesn't rack your brain if you are a long time Xbox 2k basketball player.

How can I fix the problem if I'm using wireless controllers with wireless receiver?

XBCD hasn't come out with a version for the wireless controllers yet

Damn last week i was able to buy a wireless xbox controller

During the installation it says that windows is not compatible with this program,so when i open the setup utility it doesn't recognise my xbox controller in order to make the changes!!
Any help???

Thanks for the link jrlocke. I tried other versions of XBCD with preset xbox configs, but to no avail. This however worked just fine on WIN XP (32bit) and Xbox 360 Controller for windows (wired). Now I am able to use LT and RT as buttons instead of triggers. Now give and go (LT+RT+pass) works just as it does on xbox 360 nba 2k9 version.

By the way, did you remove Microsoft’s default drivers for xbox controller before installing these or did you just use XBCD from the start ?

Is there any way to enable rumble support in NBA 2K9 ?

i already installed the driver for xbox360 controller but still i cant use my controller,its only blinking (power button)

i'm using a wired xbox360 controller and i just downloaded the driver at the microsoft website and never had any problems...the right trigger does what it should do w/c is direct passing, the right bumper does the sprint, the left trigger gives me the dual player feature, the left bumber gives me postup...

mga bro tulong naman ndi ko talaga alam kung pano gamitin xbox 360 controller ko..na-install ko na ung driver pero ayaw pa din eh...tapos ung power button ng controller nag bliblink lang...panget kc pag keyboard gamit sa 2k9 eh...naguguluhan ako..pls
