Talk about NBA Live 09 here.

I'm in the middle of a dynasty with the Dallas Mavericks. I like to simulate the games up until about the last month of the season to secure a spot in the playoffs and then play through the playoffs. One minor problem I'm having with the simulations though is the fact that Josh Howard is averaging 13 ppg while Kidd is averaging around 15ppg. My question to all the geniuses in this great forum is how can I manipulate some ratings to, at the very least, switch that? In an ideal world, I could have Kidd averaging around 8-9ppg with Howard averaging around 18-20ppg. I've already upped Josh's go-to guy rating to a 90 while lowering Kidd's to a 40. I've set my playbook up to run a Josh Iso and a Josh Guard Box set which work great. I have no set plays for Jason Kidd as he should be just distributing the ball and playing some tough old man defense. Any suggestions you guys have would be greatly appreciated.

Tough call, those are the steps I would've suggested you take. It's worth noting that while NBA Live 09's sim engine is improved it still has its issues. If anything else comes to mind I'll certainly post, in the meantime if anyone else has any advice feel free to post it too.

Thanks for the response, Andrew. I'm going to try tweaking some other things like Shooting Likelihood, Aggressiveness, Playing time and rotations and see if that will help. I will let you know what results I get, if any.

Certainly worth a try.

Try putting kidd's inside scoring and 3 pt. shooting down and putting his passing ratings higher, while putting up all of J-ho's scoring attributes.
