NBA LIVE 09 - Player Accessories

Hey guys,

I'm just putting up this thread so that you guys can call out different player accessories you see in real life that may not be in NBA LIVE 09.

Not saying everything can be put into NBA LIVE 09, but it will be cool to see this thread constantly updated.

You guys are so passionate, I'm sure this thread will be updated throughout the season. Interested to see what you guys end up posting.

Nice...so i'm guessing you guys at EA will use this thread to help with your daily updates.

Some of the shoes players wear in the NBA aren't in Live. Also, you can't make the barbed wire tattoos go all the way around a created player's arm.

Can we also request skin tone changes. . .some guys that are light in NBA Live are Dark for some reason lol!!!

I've been playing nba live since 1995. I noticed that EA does not put in the correct color for the basketball uniforms. One example is the LA Lakers uniform. It's usually purple and not bluish in color. When I was playing live for the PC. I would usually download a patch to correct the Lakers uniform. I hope this year they are able to correct that.

As for the accessories, NBA Live 08 did not allow you to edit the shoes. I want to make sure that if I'm playing a road team that wears all black shoes I don't want to see a player from that team wearing white shoes hehehe. It takes out the realism in this game. I believe that in the NBA if your team decides to wear white shoes on the road or at home you need to wear white shoes. The same goes for the black shoes. In other pro leagues around the world, they do not follow this rule. You can see players from one team wearing white or black shoes

Just reminding you. If you see a player with the wrong shoes, or color or no headband when he needs one, things like that, let me know! Hope you're enjoying it!

Non of the rookies have tattoos and they dont wear the right shoes. The NBA-players in the FIBA-teams wear shoes in their NBA-team colors.

And when will the OKC Thunder update be available?

No, we can't edit headbands. We can report things like that here though so that EA can fix them up in the official updates.

Melo and A.I. never wear black arm sleeves (well, maybe sometimes with the black uniform) but they do in the game. You shoud make them white or blue .. Also it would be nice if we could at least edit locked accessories' colours if we cant take them off.

the team payer accessories from OKC Thunder are still in Seattle Super Sonic Colors

Have Kobe's arm sleeve been discussed before? Doesn't change colors per home/away games...

Vince Carter does not wear a headband anymore during the game.

Drew Gooden doesn't wear a head band.

LeBron James on Team USA doesn't have ANY tatooes at all. EA Needs to fix that.

They didn't. You can edit players in NBA Live 09, you just can't edit headbands.
