See what happens when EA Listens to the fans. They did a lot of fan research after 08 and now they look like they are coming with something promising.

i like idea of signature fts. shaq shouldn't shoot the same as nash. but they better balance it out so he doesn't shoot the same % as nash. it should be like old-school t-meter Live where it's harder to hit with Shaq (but not impossible. it took real skill to hit with him) than with say reggie miller.

I still wouldn't mind if they went back to using the style of T-meter that was present in NBA Live 2004-06, or at least found a way of incorporating that level of precision aiming while simulating the follow through action that the right analog method does.

sounds like thats what they went to. one of the producers mentioned going back "to the B button for free throws" and having the right stick "confusing people".

Is it that hard to draw the damn analog stick back and flicking it forward to shoot?

You don't know when to release when say, Chuck Hayes is shooting with his "sig" free throw shot.

They could just mean simulating free throws though, as they did in 07 and 08.

Well, harder than the T-meter method. Especially if you're trying to aim an intentional miss.

well it wouldn't be much of a game if you simulated free throws would it?

and intentional misses were easy to do on the nextgen version. me and my roommate would aim for "and 2s" on the last free throw.

Not if that was the only method of shooting free throws, but as an alternative to the regular method. Leaving it up to the CPU and the player's ratings has its own risks and rewards, after all.

I'm excited, they got Chuck Hayes's signature freethrow!!
Allen Iverson passing on family values:

A.I.: son, what you doing there?
A.I.'s son: practicing my math for my test tommorow
A.I: practice? practice? we talkin' 'bout practice. not the test - practice. we talkin' 'bout practice. not the test, not the test - practice.
