I love the crowd.
I love the cheerleaders.
I love the arena.
It's alright.

EDIT: Nice shading, btw. Not bad work, EA, just make it on PC ..

Is it me or do the jerseys look extremely ugly?
Overall I don't see a difference to live 08.

buzzy, I think the jerseys are animated.. Not sure though, looks so. I never had problems with graphics, but the better they are, the better the game is.

jerseys are a bit too thick over the shoulders imo

but man, it is good to see the crowd standing and getting out of their seats, in aisles and stuff, cheerleaders i guess are good but the new player emotion on their faces is a very welcome addition
Opinions are my own.

At least we know something has improved, I really love that kind of crowd+cheerleaders compared to what was before. Hopefully this wasn´t biggest improvement, what will be made.

the numbers look funky on the KG & Kobe pic too. Other than that, they look exactly like live 08.

THe only difference I see, in the player models is the arms, they look much better around the shoulders, and the skirts are definitely gone

* The crowd looks extremely better compared to the previous NBA Lives.
***But it still needs some improvement. People wear too much same colour and the seat spaces are too narrow from back to front !!!

*Players look somewhat skinny.

*Jerseys look really ugly.

*BTW, looks like hardwood texture quality is reduced due to the memory restrictions of the consoles. But it's still close to the perfect. EA does well in this area.

Yes. We basketball fans want more previews.

those numbers are gigantic. and the back of Bryant's jersey in one of the pictures is fairly odd as well.

I think this game will be a huge improvement over last years game gameplay wise. I confident about lives year this year they will compete with 2k. Think about this year EA is focusing on gameplay authenticity

Yeah, it looks like they did some work on the animation physics and model of the uniforms but haven't updated the UV mapping of the texture which would cause the weird stretching.

... When you create a player with a ‘THICK’ build and place him on either the Bobcats or Thunder, the game will crash when entering the game.

That being said, we only have 5 existing players in the league who are ‘THICK’ builds:

Glen Davis
Shaquille O’Neal
Eddy Curry
Jerome James
Michael Sweetney

Workaround: Don’t put a ‘THICK’ build created player OR one of the above players on the Bobcats or Thunder and the game won’t crash.

Man, if these are the "rather good looking" screen that they have decided to publicize them, then I'm quite sure there are still many flaws in this game. :?

Only thing I like about the graphics is the size of players.

Damn, can someone suggest this to the EA - add to the wishlist?

Bench players should either wear a training shirt or a jacket. And please make the whole bench instead of just 4 players.

I asked them a ton of questions about the game play, read Brian's Q&A the one I posted in this forum ( http://www.nbaliveforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=57267 ) those are all my questions he answered. You have to read into them, trust me, they are focused on gameplay and presentation this year based on those answers. Just Read the thread

And we, the buyers, always say that every year and then we waste our bucks.

EA says that every year in one form or another. Focusing is different from doing it and actually seeing it in the final product.
I already read that thread. No offense dude, but who are you for me to trust you?
