I think he might still be in the Free Agents pool. I haven't touched the PS2 version since I reviewed it though.

the PS 2 Version of NBA Live 09 is awful. I'm glad I bought 2K9 instead. some of you may think I'm nuts but when I do a dynasty I play some of the games and then some of the games I watch and see how my guys do. i couldn't even do that in Live 09 for PS 2. I know they aren't working much on the PS2 but there are still some players that play on that. I'm not saying they should be like 360 or PS3 but the substitutions should have been like they were on Live 08. I like knowing that not the same five guys are going to play for 48 minutes. also Derrick Rose was in free agents which was crazy.

No argument here, the PS2 version is an embarrassment.

True. NBA Live 06 was the last stable release using that engine.

Is There a way to where I could watch my players play without having to simulate it? it's like i said before I like to play some of the games and actually watch some of them. Also I doubt they actually save during the offseason either am I right? I wish the stats would be more accurate and that they would have gone back to the sub like in 08. As far as gameplay 06 to me is the best. I do like 08 for the dynasty and I have to admit I build me a team of good players in spite I can't win the finals.

If you don't assign a controller to a team before a game you should be able to watch it, but you won't be able to intervene (call plays, make subs etc) unless you assign control to one of the teams first.

09 wasn't stable yet. There are malfunctions
in the game. You can experience sometimes its
laggy cause of high features.
