Looks like Chauncey to me too, although a Pistons fan, I agree that he wouldn't be the most marketable player for the general audience.

What is up with Billups? People always predict he will be on the cover. He was on NBA Ballers a couple years back anyway. It will not be him. IMO its going to be Roy or Ray Ray

I guess my new picks will be Antawn Jamison or Luol Deng (pretty unlikely for either though). Don't know why though

Brandon Roy would be an odd choice since they usually go for a more high profile player and Roy isn't at that level just yet. Ray Allen seems more likely out of the suggestions posted so far.

The Blank Cover Silloute for NBA Live 09 is just Gilbert Arenas

But the other two blanks, look a lot like kobe more than allen

It's not just about stats though. It's about a player being recognisable, widely popular and marketable. Roy doesn't really have that kind of mass appeal just yet, as fine a season he had in 2007/2008.

I'm actually surprised that they're still waiting to unveil the cover player. I thought the announcement might come a lot sooner when Take-Two announced KG would be on their cover a couple of weeks back.

Looking at the big pic, it reallylooked like Ray,but looking at the small one, its more of a Billups

If you look carefully at the left arm of the silhouette, i has a sleeve on it so it could be Ray Allen IMO.

Allen was on the NBA Sony PSP cover in 06 or 05...
