That looks like a pretty unstoppable team on paper. Kudos on developing Josh McRoberts to a 98 overall player, I imagine he's much more effective than he currently is in real life.

Re: Rate My Team

Thu Mar 26, 2009 1:05 pm

C J.McRoberts(98, 29 yrs)
PF M.Beasley(99,28 yrs)
SF J.Sullivan(93,27yrs)
SG O.Mason(90,24 yrs)
PG M.Chambers(91,25 yrs)

Wow. I've never had more than 2 players at the 90 mark. That's insane.

I guess it's the benefit of playing all your games instead of simming and doing your own training =P

In other news, I'm on the 2025-2026 Season with my Heat (got nostalgic) and the team is ranked at 99, but I have to trade my 2 superstars since they're 31 and about to turn 32.

Won the championship every year :D

Re: Rate My Team

I'm in my first year fantasy draft dynasty as the Cavs and this is my team (rating, age).

Andrew Bynum (79,21)
Chris Wilcox (75,26)
LeBron James (97,24)
Joe Johnson (83,27)
Mike Conley (74,21)

Bench:
Mark Blount (70,33)
Sean Williams (69,22)
Sasha Vujacic (72,24)
Earl Watson (72,29)
Russel Westbrook (70,20)

I have an offer of Sasha Vujacic for Rudy Fernandez on the table from Memphis that I'm thinking about taking. I can't seam to find the sweet spot on Sasha's release and Fernandez has a really quick release which I like (Conley and Watson). I only have 11 players because I released 2 scrubs. They were getting too many minutes when I simmed games. I also know I need more front court depth but can't really figure out any trade that would be worth it.

Re: Rate My Team

Sat Mar 28, 2009 3:53 pm

I'd definitely take that Vujacic for Fernandez deal.

Interesting experiment. Not a terrible team all up but a bit lacking in size in the middle.

Re: Rate My Team

Wed Apr 01, 2009 7:53 pm

Rate my team people!

Heres my team:

PG - Mike Bibby
SG- Dwayne Wade
SF - Rudy Gay
PF - Yi Jian Lian
C - Ben Wallace

Heres my second unit:

PG - CJ Watson
SG - John Salmons
SF - Ronnie Brewer
PF - PJ Brown
C - Alonzo Mourning

Re: Rate My Team

Wed Apr 01, 2009 8:21 pm

That's a pretty good starting five with Yi really the only weak link there. Your bench is solid too, though if you're playing a few years into Dynasty Mode you'll need to revamp it fairly soon with Brown and Mourning likely to retire after the first season.

Re: Rate My Team

Fri Apr 03, 2009 4:27 am

I started a new Dynasty with Fantasy draft, I think I got pretty good starting five but my bench doesn't have that much depth.

PG - Mike Bibby
SG - OJ Mayo
SF - Lebron James
PF - Rasheed Wallace
C - Marc Gasol

pg - Dalonte West
sg - Fred Jones
sf - Grant Hill
pf - Mark Blount
c - Rasho Nesterovic

Bench -
Ronnie Price
Mario Chalmers
Cerdric Simmons

Playing on Superstar with 9 minute games.
I had an easy schedule so far and have a record of 12-0.
Marc Gasol is tearing up under the rim leading the league in offensive rebounds. Rasheed is leading the league in blocks so I think that this season should go pretty well.

Re: Rate My Team

Fri Apr 03, 2009 9:21 am

With a starting five like that, you don't really need a better bench than the one you have. Welcome to the Forum. :)

Excellent starting five, bibby's a good playmaker, oj mayo is good offensively and can be developed, lebrone all around good player, wallace good rebounder inside scorer and marc casol, i love this guy, good offensive potential. Nice young players off the bench, simmons and price need a lot of work, chalmers is a great young player.

That's a fine starting five you've got, your bench is pretty solid too with a good amount of young players who still have development potential but for the most part are already good players. You're obviously getting impressive results. :)

Re: Rate My Team

Mon Apr 06, 2009 4:40 am

Well, I finished my Heat Dynasty finally (25 seasons is a lot D: ) and scrapped the rest of them. Now playing with the Lakers, and actually playing the games instead of simming.

C - A. Bynum
PF - P. Gasol
SF - A. Kirilenko
SG - D. Wade
PG - D. Rose

Sixth Man: Carlos Boozer

Re: Rate My Team

Tue Apr 07, 2009 1:02 am

That's a pretty stacked lineup through the starting five and sixth man. What's the rest of the bench like?

Re: Rate My Team

Tue Apr 07, 2009 2:19 pm

It's pretty much the basic Lakers bench after that.

Farmar, Bayless, and A. Randolph being the only ones that really stick out.

We're 30-1. Though I feel a little broken when I play every game, 4/5 of the MVP Candidates are from my Starting 5.

Re: Rate My Team

Wed Apr 08, 2009 10:07 am

That's the main problem with having a stacked lineup, sometimes you find yourself just trying to get everyone their numbers and there isn't that challenge as your team dominates everything.

Woah! Steve nash to the all defensive team? Why didn't dudley make the rookie team? Or did he? Are you going to try to get rid of shaq?

I started my dynasty before the J-Rich trade, so I never had Dudley on my team. And Dudley is a 3rd year player. Shaq does nothing on my team at the moment, he averages 7ppg and 8rpg, I'm just waiting for him to retire and then I'll probably start Diaw at PF and Amar'e at C, or start Lopez (he is a rebounding machine in this game).

To get my as it is:
First Season:
Traded Barnes (68) to Nets for Robert Horry (69) and Mo Ager (60).
Horry retired at end of season.
Second Season:
Drafted SF J. Kruger (64) and PF A. Parrish (59).
Traded R. Bell (75) to Kings for J. Salmons (72) and Bobby Brown (58).
Traded J. Salmons (72) and M. Ager (60) to Bucks for Jamario Moon (72)
Traded J. Kruger (64) to Toronto for N. Jawai (64), just cos he's Australian.

Re: Rate My Team

Sat Apr 18, 2009 11:37 am

Looks good, congrats on the championship. You don't have any interest in trading Shaq?

Re: Rate My Team

Sun Apr 19, 2009 12:22 pm

Maybe, only if I can get another center that tall with that good rebounding skills.

I am looking to develop Diaw and Lopez as well though.

Re: Rate My Team

Sun Apr 19, 2009 4:08 pm

That'll be interesting to see how well diaw developes, i'd like to hear about his improvements, if you will post.

Re: Rate My Team

Sun Apr 19, 2009 4:22 pm

I definitley will, He has already increased from 76 to 77 overall. I found that his 3 point ability increased the most.
