NBA Live 09 will not be released for the PC

Dear pinoys and kids....when you grow up...you too will find a job and be able to buy a console so you can play nba live. I'm sorry EA got tired of not making money on the PC due to the fact that the market has changed and people kept freely downloading their products on the intarwebz. How dare they focus on less platforms with the slim hope of producing a higher grade software and how dare they be in business to make money to begin with huh? I feel your pain mother fuckers...I really do. Let me show how much I do by presenting this sympathy smiley face.

Ummm, gaming pcs cost more than a 360 or ps3....my video card cost almost $500 so its not the point that people who play pcs games cant afford a console, its that they dont want to buy a console just to play nba live cause EA doesnt wanna make it next gen for pc. All other pc games that come out are next gen and make the xbox or ps3 graphics look like crap. Do a side by side and you will see, my buddy brought his ps3 over and fired up COD4, and i fired it up on my PC and he was speechless.

That's because you live in the US I guess. In South America the next-gen consoles, are way too expensive.

It's the same here in Australia, which is ridiculous given the current value of the Australian dollar against the greenback.

Okay.. I know that isn't the right thread but as you talked about consoles.. I wanna know.. Which Console is better - X'360 or Ps3' coz here there is big differenc between their price.

The Xbox360 is 200$ and the PS3 is 550$..

Sure the Playstation is more good, right? But i don't have so much money and probably i will buy myself a XBox..

Compare them i say and i really don't know but 360 you get a lot more options like playin music during ya games, online gaming, texting, and profiles but if you get a 360, you might want NBA LIVE 08 or 09 with a large memory card with the x-box gold and another thing that allows you to play online and the X-Box gold thing enables you to download EA's patches and updates.

So i have to say 360(more cheap too)

Pdub Yeah they looks similar cause of they are with animated logo in the center. It is animated on the same way like Lean's one
Anyway he use the Windows Media Player Style.. and i am using the Lakers background.. Also Lean have green colors in the sig.. You know he is boston fan
But anyway to be honest i really like the style that he is animated his sig.. You know he have great PS skills.. and i ask Ckal to made sig with the Lakers with my logo.. ( With animations like mr. Crapy) That's why..

Although i've left this forum for a long time already, i came back right away when i heard about this news. this truly sucks for PC fans(ex, for me ), all those great mods, great patches. man..i still remember those 2003 days where tony and alex and rest created the nba street mod. RIP nba live PC. and thank god i bought ps3 and changed to 2k8 last year. things aint gonna get better when they release games filled with bugs year after year.

Anyway GazuN, I am also gettin a 360 due to the NBA Live 09 thing and stuff and the graphics are nice and they come with updates and if you have X-BOX gold which i like. I can see that i should get NBA LIVE 09 and a 360 bro.

I guess I've really been out of the loop since my Mavs were eliminated.

If I had to buy a PS3 or XBOX I would buy 2K9 not the Live series..They are doing a favor to 2K by not making PC games

I hate EA n I'm sure fifa,nhl,nascar,tiger woods will also follow.
NBA live was my favourite title and i continued to love it despite the 2 recent realeses

Hopefully our community, as well as the other communities who play EA titles, will be able to successfully demonstrate support for the PC platform and they'll return to it with ports from the latest generation of consoles.

In that link they mentioned something about nba street for pc....now that I would prefer. EA usually gets the arcade portion of basketball right.
